I just purchased a 2014 Audi A7 prestige in brilliant silver. The camera situation is easy to explain. There are 3 cameras, one for the night vision, one in the front grill, one in the rear. The camera splits the lends and that allows us to see around corners. This was my dream car for the longest and I was blessed by receiving one.
The rear corner camera is done with software. Just like the 360 surround view. There are no additional cameras in the rear. Just the one in the middle.
