Such a beautifully dark and powerful track from Evergrey. "Omnious" and "Call out the Dark" are my two favorite songs off A Heartless Portrait.
I'm sure you two know and have watched another fairly recent Evergrey vid, but just in case it slipped passed you, Napalm Records released a piano version of "Call Out the Dark" off of the band's 30th anniversary album, From Dark Discoveries to Heartless Portraits that has a similar feel to the music of Silent Skies, Tom's other band/project you mentioned.
Also, speaking of their new album, Tom Englund released a couple of updates on the progress back in November (2023), and he stated the band was almost done recording the vocals and instruments and were about to into the mixing and production phase. Really looking forward to it. Mabye the band will do a North American tour to promote the new album once it is released.
