"Our whiskey is like when you brew a cup of tea with a tea bag that has already been used once. The flavor isn't as complex as Tennessee and Kentucky bourbon." Well, that guy is one hell of a salesman.
Even still I don't find it that bad. I've tried alot of the higher end bourbons and scotches, as long as it's $100 and lower. I can't afford anything more expensive than that. But of the ones I have tried, I honestly just don't find these higher end whiskies to be SO much better. What I do find is that every brand has it's own flavor profile more than anything, and it's personal preference.
I've tried a few other Canadian whiskey s prior to writing this. Canadian mist? Notes of yeast infection along with fusil oil and you know those things that you plug into the wall that spew "fragrance" into the room?.?.? It was like one of those fell into the vat of final product and steaped for a couple of months prior to being fished out and then bottled. I should have thought. I just wanted something that was cheap and wanting to start drinking again in order to kill some emotional pain, the stench stopped me from getting hooked on alcohol,,, you get what you pay for.
Thank god they only sell Canadian Mist to America and America Jr. Only they would drink this rubbing alcohol. I like how the salesman talks to Ben like he didn't go to school for years to learn about whisky and doesn't have whisky in his blood.
I'm Canadian and I do NOT drink Canadian Whisky, especially NOT when they use corn and still get to call it "Rye whisky" when there is barely no Rye in it, or very little rye, if anything! I prefer Scotch and malt and will stick to Scotch lol.
Great stuff! Glad to see all the Canadian tours
Fantastic how a few whisky drams have made nice and loose conversation. That's What It's All About;D Great job, again.
It's awesome you guys make these videos for us. Keep them coming.
That mist man has made my life great again...
19:00 Haha, another one that picks up bananas from JD! Looks like interesting whisky, but some fugly packaging there though.
