- Hello everyone, welcome to Travelzilla. Please join me on a tour of MUNICH AIRPORT (MUC), also known as Flughafen München. The international airport of Munich is Germany's second busiest airport, it ranks as a 5 star airport due to its excellence in various fronts. Keep in mind that this airport is huge so it is virtually impossible to cover all aspects of the airport, which is why I've decided to make a quick guide of this incredibly big airport. MUC consists of 2 terminals, terminal 1 and 2 which are connected to more than 250 destinations around the world via more than 100 airlines. Munich Airport ranks as one of the world's top 40 busiest airports being in the European top 10 busiest airports and raking as Germany's number 2. More than 48 million passengers have flown in and out this airport in 2018 before the pandemic. MUC is the most important airport in BAVARIA.

Terminal 2 also has a satellite building which can be reached by an underground transportation system. Munich Airport (MUC) is a hub for Germany's most important airline, LUFTHANSA and it's subsidiaries Lufthansa City Line, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti, etc as well as a hub for companies such as CONDOR and TUI fly deutschland (fly germany).
I am very happy to arrive in MUNICH GERMANY as it snowed for we need more snow on this channel! :-) In the video I will show you what it is like landing in Much Airport (MUC), give you a tour of Munich Airport, show you how to get the Munich Turbopass, how to get to MUNICH from the airport by train, how to get to Munich airport from the Munich City Center by train, will give you a Munich Airport tour of Arrival and Departures, will give you background information about the airport with historic facts, why is Munich Airport named Franz Joseph Strauss (Strauß) one of the fathers of AIRBUS.
