OK, it is official, this is now my favorite Tuba Skinny video of all time. It is very emotional to see and hear Mr. Gronowski playing and expressing his admiration for the band. He illustrates the effect the band has on so many of us, enriching our lives in ways I hope the band understands. I know they have changed my life in so many wonderful ways. And to top it off we get to see and hear Erika for the first time since her surgery!
Amen Brother James, amen! Tuba Skinny has helped me endure the pandemic and they lead me to discover many other great bands and performers such as Marla Dixon and her bands, the Shotgun and Shakem' Up Jazz bands, The Slick Skillet Serenaders, Sarah Peterson, Maddy Reidy, Chance Bushman, Tamar Korn and a host of others too numerous to mention. At this point in the game, I can say I know how Indiana Jones felt when he discovered the Lost Ark of the Covenant! Another thing is in a year marked by so much negativity, they gave us all a reason to feel upbeat and positive that better days are ahead. And the icing on the cake is that I have been blessed to make such wonderful friends as "Pops" Coffee, Alex of digitalalexa and you!😊👍
And.., This is why tuba skinny exists ! ! ! To make hearts everywhere feel joy ! ! ! Thank all of you guys over there, from all of the joyous hearts out here ! ! !
How fabulous to see & hear Tuba Skinny with Mr Gronowski...and to see Erika well enough to sing moved me to tears . I see that the wonderful Mr Gronowski celebrated his 90th birthday yesterday (11th October). Thats 90 years full of unlikely achievements and playing with the equally wonderful Tuba Skinny must be one of those achievements. Happy Birthday, Sir and thank you for the inspiration that your life story gives us all.
This is a great emotional boost for me. Seeing Simon Gronowski still able to play soulful music is just wonderful. I have missed seeing and hearing you Erika. You sound wonderful! I see that you have the scar of vocal cord surgery. Mine has faded and is almost invisible now. Please take care of that voice so we can all hear it for many years to come. To the rest of the band, you are solid as a rock. A bouncy, playful rock. Thank you for sharing your heart with us.

What a great collaboration, The Covid has made us think outside the box, and all of us are doing things we had not thought possible. I have to say I miss Erica sitting on the bass drum , we love you Erica, we miss you, This is what we have now and I hope soon we can return to more normal times.

Mr G's a mean man on the joanna, TS are their usual immaculate selves and then there's the gorgeous Erika in close-up with her unique voice unmarred from that thyroid operation a while back.
