Fr Ranieri used to run a tv program when I was a child explaining Sunday gospel. It was in the early 80s and I used to watch it with my grandpa. I loved it, I could listen to him preaching for hours without getting bored. He has a true gift
I am Just Back From Ards in doengal over 30 yrs ago I met this famous little monk. He was writing his Book 'christ at the center' and he signed it for me.... " to Matthew to be a poet for the saviou Jesus " The memory will never meet me. I was Thrilled when I saw in Ireland he was made a cardinal. God Bless You Raniero your a beautiful soul.

Beautiful documentary. Superb simple humble guy. I was one of the supporters of his elevation to Cardinal. A man who couldn't speak English now preaches so confidently in the language. Only the Holy Spirit can do things this way.
It has been a great blessing to be formed by him through his writings. He influences Christians of every stream who desire to be surrendered to the Holy Spirit and follow the Spirit's movement through every culture.

@@janoselter3743 But isn't it amazing how I only speak English and we can communicate with each other. I agree with you that it is not the Holy Spirit's job to teach you English, unless He wants you to minister to people in English. Like you, I have been asking for understanding of heavenly things since the mid 1960's. I try to be like Mary, who after listening to the Angel Gabriel, "pondered all these things in her heart." Biblical stories are not fairy tales. They are divinely inspired Truths, written in different forms of prose, that provide us with inspiration to be like Jesus.

I don't have to serve people. They need to understand the truth.
And so far no one knows what it is.
The Bible stories contain many truths. But there are a lot of stories in it.
That is why you need to be able to distinguish between them.
We will never be like Jesus. Because He was fundamentally different.
The question is: do you keep dreaming or do you wake up?
Are you learning or staying wrong?

It takes atreu humility and holiness and understanding of fullness of heart of God to want to be healed by Him phisically also. Then Jesus has suffered tremoundously phisically also to heal our bodies through His wounds! God is most happy to give us all His holistic approach for our being!

I am surprised. Everything I have learned recently about the Catholic Faith teaches "our Baptism into the Catholic Church is the Seal of the Holy Spirit with Confirmation and the other Sacraments."
That is true. God imparts Grace through the sacraments to us. He does His part. Our response is surrender to His Grace. That surrender releases the Grace present and makes it alive. Catholics teach that our conversion is ongoing not just a once and done. We teach daily repentance and surrender to going ever deeper. It’s not a honeymoon is a lifelong marriage.
A continuation of the other before him are priests and monks andvPopes and bishops treasures alive gifts best of heaven clergy and religious one by one are so sweet you have to experience one by one priests and nuns and also persons, God shows us that in every person there is good even a small act of love one is saved from eternal punishment ,true

He was elevated to Cardinal but refused to become a bishop.Very rare, but follows his humble nature.

As a former Protestant charismatic I am totally opposed to the Catholic Charismatic movement. The Catholic Charismatic movement is historically derived from the Protestant version. In the 80’s and 90’s millions left the Catholic Church due to the Catholic Charismatic movement. That’s the fruit.
Unfortunately, you do not know your global history, but are effected by your local experience. Most Christians are totally unaware of Stones Folly in Topeka, KS USA. At the end of the 1800's Pope Leo XIII invited all bishops of the world to renew their devotion to the Holy Spirit. Most Roman Catholic clergy neglected or rejected the Holy Father's plea. So on December 31, 1900 Pope Leo XIII prayed that the Church would be reunited and experience a new Pentecost. The next day the Holy Spirit responded by giving the Holiness Movement a personal Pentecost experience in Topeka, KS. In the 1950's as Roman Catholic clergy were beginning to see what the Holy Spirit was doing, The Bishop of Kansas City in Kansas purchased the property where the Pentecostal Holiness movement was birthed and erected a new parish Most Pure Heart of Mary parish. Visit their website. Catholics, Pentecostals and the new Charismatic traditions are now restoring the full communion of the Church by focusing on the Nicene Creed which defined the Church as the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Body of Christ. The problem is never on God's end. The problem is always with us not paying attention to what the Holy Spirit is doing. When we pray at the beginning of Mass to forgive us for the things "We have failed to do!" failing to work to restore full communion is one of those types of things.

What Protestants call the Holy Spirit needs qualification. True that the Holy Spirit is working in every Christian but for that zeal to bring real fruits, the truth of Catholicism must be there. We must be careful to think that this gift for the love of Christ is the summit on its own. It can lead to thinking that Catholicism is not necessary.
