- Prior to the 2024 NFL Draft, there was a ton of hype surrounding star LSU QB Jayden Daniels. His mix of athleticism and passing ability is what made him get selected 2nd overall by the Washington Commanders, who moved on from Sam Howell after he turned the ball over a ridiculous 23 times. Ive literally heard no expert say anything negative about Jayden Daniels.
Its hard to take this video seriously. Jayden Daniels is super fast processor. That is not my opinion, its the general consensus. In fact, I think he goes through his reads to fast at times. He shows a lot of poise in the pocket. If you think hes going to be a bust. Youre entitled to that opinion. But at least give an accurate evaluation of his skillset.

Do you truthfully know what you are looking at on film? For real. Do you? Already this preseason in limited snaps he can read pre and post snap. He make throws with anticipation. Looks off defenders and has thrown guys open. And he gets the ball out of his hand to make up for average o line play. Miami wasn't holding back on defense and he drove twice into their end to at least put his team in scoring positions. You have already been proven wrong

Also, Ekeler is 29 years old coming off his worst year of his career because of an ankle injury. He may not be that every down back he was before but his strength is as a receiver out of the backfield. Those types of running backs have longer careers.

The reason I say this is because you very openly said you only looked at one game and you make your estimate based solely on that game leaving no room to measure variation. How do you know if that was an outlier or the true average, you dont.

I went to 3 practices and it’s bad. He’s getting crushed in the pocket. Luckily, there was no contact on the QB. On one throw he put the ball in harms way. The receiver got lit up.
