Im trying my hand into food preservation and i decided to start with pickled beets for refrigerator storage because canning can be a bit intimidating and scary if you have never done it before. My goal is to start canning (water bath canning 1st) in the new year until im comfortable with doing it and then start with pressure canning. Oh man so sorry to hear that. Maybe watch a few on it or maybe buy a canning book with step by step methods for canning your jams. I'm planning to buy a book or 2 to help me with it.
It really tastes lovely, when everything is blended together you can hardly taste the bitterness of garlic and ginger. I am yet to try using honey in substitute to the sugar. I will try it out and share the outcomes.

You did well sis,I always try canning jams trust me moulds 😂they end up in the bin most of the time.Have given up😂

They are very delicious, and once everything is blended you can't even taste the garlic or ginger, you just feel the crunch while chewing.

😂😂😂 same here. And the taste is nothing like the store bought beets. They are very sweet that's why I don't even add a lot of sugar in the brine.
