They are said to be spirits born from the corpses of humans and animals. Onibi can lead travelers astray or lure them into dangerous places. It could be that instead of "ghost lights", they used the mysterious lights from mt 3.

No I didn't beat it yet ;( Mainly because 300-400 is kinda too hard for me, and I neither have enough time to play enough time to actually beat it. I still like the mountain tho, def an improvement from wild west
