what a lovely day people watching, we had a boat for twenty years on the south coast and we really miss it but when we moved up North had to sell it so bought our motor home which weve had for twelve years!!! not quite the same though.love your dress Mrs Slaw.
Watching your blog of La plage grimaud brought back many memories. Stayed on 5 sites there from 2003 .la plage although then having worst management, worst maintained with ancient facilities and dodgy electrics especially during the regular flooding its still remains our favourite site, beautifully positioned and regular trips on our Honda to st tropez was wonderful ,to old now but great memories, thank you for your lovely blogs, enjoy.
Ha ha how could we not like that video! We got a mention, we had to play it back three times ! Thanks so much for making our night , Lyndz is busy telling all of her mates so you might get even more subscribers. We loved Haverigg, loads of cycling, walking, people watching and we ordered first ever electric bikes too so it will always be special. We have loved every video of this trip but tonight’s is the best yet ha ha. Thanks again guys. Ian and Lyndz!
Still slowly watching through your French adventure and thoroughly enjoyed your day in St Tropez. I thought your choice of yacht was very good!! Good to see you getting out and about there on your bikes too. Wonderful vlog! Sue xx
Love Camping de la Plage and that whole area, stayed there twice but over the other side of the road in the more shaded area amongst the trees as it was July and frigging hot...
You both make me smile, those boats are something else, worth a pretty penny , looked a lovely spot for a mooch and a drink,, thankyou for taking us along and Huge Congrats again for 3K, and climbing so well deserved xxx
This brings back memories, we stayed on the campsite closest to the port, in May 2004, for 10 days which included the Monaco Gp, we caught the fast boat across to St tropez from port grimaud, would love to go back again, drove to St Rafael to get the train to monaco
Really enjoying your vlogs and your travels. My hubby keeps admiring Mr Slaws glasses and is trying hard to read the makes ha ha. Think you're great x😁
We are staying next door at camping des mures. Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately our very tall springer spaniel is too big for a dog carrier. Shame as we have ebikes!
@The Slaw’s Adventures Great video guys.. Just a bit intrigued, by something Mrs Slaw said at 26:00 , she said “earlier we walked past the pits” (whilst referring to the Grand Prix - but which Grand Prix are we discussing here?… The St Tropez Grand Prix (which I am unfamiliar with) or The Monaco Grand Prix) It’s just that you are sat in a bar in St Tropez saying you walked pasted the “Pits”? St. Tropez to Monaco is 133 km away taking just over 2 hrs by car…. Never mind by bike….
Thanks Sean! At the beginning of the vlog you see us cycle past the Sail GP pits. At 26:00 when I refer to the pits, I follow it by saying it was a boat race. You are quite right there is no St Tropez F1 GP and we were miles away from Monaco, but I definitely wasn’t referring to F1 GP 🤣
Hello from Australia! In our 12th week of lockdown your vlogs are a godsend😀 thank you for taking my mind on a holiday in France. Watched ALL your vlogs, enjoyed them all..nicely put together and love Slaws humour🤪 The war days vlogs are lovely, you dress the part very well Mrs Slaw, loved the rendezvous. Enjoy your holiday, keep them coming..cheers🥂🍻 to you both, safe travels! Susan, congrats on the 3k and 1yr vlogging 🥳
Wooo Hooooo!!!! New wine glasses.... I can fall down as much as I like and not break them. They look lush 💕 BTW, anther new ‘That dress’ very fitting looks great! All you two need now is a Piaggio scooter and you’ll fit right in 🛵. Loving the vlogs xx
Having done similar trips, I find your vlogs absolutely fantastic, brings back great memories, even the Millau bridge, roll on the last 2 cancelled trips to Spain planned for 2022!
While your in St Topaz drinking beer we’re in Cheshire in the rain drinking cans of brew dog you lucky people That’s for the videos as always Simon and kerry
You needn't have roughed it at breakfast. My yacht was there, the one with the helicopter on the back. You should have gone aboard and asked for Harry. I remember being in Puerto Banús looking at The Chaf, a huge boat. I spotted a crew member and got chatting to him. He said, "Are you from Yorkshire?" I said I was from Mirfield. He told me he was from Batley Carr and got the job by answering an advert in the paper. We have seen Lord Sugar on the phone on the back deck of his huge boat and also Gary Glitter, albeit a much smaller craft. It looks lovely and warm there and you captured some good footage of the views. If you need a crew member (lacky) on Helga, I'm your man.
Hi, me and my wife are looking into getting a motor home to start our journey. We are completely new to it all, any help or recommendations you can give us? I stayed at the holiday marina site near port grimaud when I was younger, have lots of fond memories there
Hi Adam, I would say hire before you buy. When you do go looking to buy, look at as many as you can. Don’t discount any until you’ve looked round. When you get your van, use it a lot! Even one nighters. Good luck 👍🏻
FYI those bronze's are actual felines from the comic book "le chat" there's 7 in total spread around part of the Exposition Le Chat by Philippe Geluck.
Thanks Wayne! We chained them to railings in the centre (you can see other bikes there behind us when we’re having a drink at Bistrot du Port). Slaw also locks them together with ABUS 540 Granit D-locks 👍🏻
Have you considered a toll tag, euro tunnel do one, having partnered with the French motorways, have always used credit card on our trips, may consider the tag in the future, having used them in Florida, with the hire cars
Brilliant vlog again, love St tropez, last time we were there we saw Princess Diana and dodi,, honest👀 just said to Mrs P we need to book our trip to South of France,, BTW how and where did you leave your electric bikes, locked securely? Keep up the great vlogs. 👌👌👍
Thanks Mark & Lorna! I believe you, because when we were in Monaco in 2007 we saw Mohammed Al Fayed on his yacht in the harbour! We parked our bikes in St Tropez harbour and locked them with abus granit D’locks.
Are you doing a quick trip? Been watching for the last week or so. Looking forward to my own trip starting this week from Portsmouth to Santander, then on through Spain etc.
Love the vlogs mr and mrs slaw My wife was asking about the dog carriages u have and are you both on electric bikes ? Looks lovely down there All the best Mark
Thanks Mark! The dog trailer is a doggyhut. We got it from eBay about 6 years ago. It was only £60 so we think it’s a fake, but it’s still going strong 🤣 The bikes are Raleigh Array ebikes. We got them this year and they’re great 👍🏻
Hubby and I are loving these videos, they are very entertaining. Mr. Slaws has some classic one liners, he cracks is both up. Your dress is gorgeous, please can you tell me where you got it from?
Wish we had bike lanes like these in UK instead of forcing u onto the roads and I don't do roads car drivers are not cycle friendly they hate cyclist with a passion...
Ooh! Can’t remember? Tunnel was about £500 return. Campsite in France about £400. Plus diesel, tolls, food and drink and other site fees. Probably a couple of grand?
@@mrsslaw9242 OK Thank you, we are around that age, Enjoying watching your French adventure, we pick our first motorhome up soon and very excited to get out there! Enjoy the rest of the Côte d'Azur😁
Hi guys...your Favourite yacht is brand new built in 2021 in Viareggio at a cost of north of €60 million...it was originally named Toute Sweet by the owner at the time but was sold in a off market deal and renamed Ocean Bird by its new owner....now on charter for around €100K per week...and that's without it leaving its moorings..."You want it to move sir, that'll be extra...ohh you want to be fed and watered...that also will be extra"....

Lovely video! how fab there are cycle lanes to St Tropez from Port Grimaud 😊 something we definitely want to do!
Thanks Debs! Cycling is a big thing in Europe. We’ve cycled all over on their cycle lanes. Much better than the UK.
