The best thing about your channel is it’s so fresh. I mean it’s like this stuff just happens last week. Other channels you could be three weeks away from when they shot the footage
We are still living in a post covid world, a lot of equipment was built with inexperienced, untrained , unskilled, over paid replacement workers. It is not just farm machinery that the lack of quality control is evident and pervasive. Thanks to the entire Ivers family for sharing.
I like the progress report you do at the end of your videos. You are starting to see some daylight at the end of a long tunnel! Hopefully you can get finished up with harvest without too many more trials and tribulations. Stay safe and god bless!
Great job Ivers gang, it’s good to see y’all give thanks to maintenance guys, whether it’s tractors, combines or pivots, those guys are often forgotten until the poop hits the fan, then everyone knows who they are. Appreciate y’all giving them the recognition they deserve. Y’all stay safe and God Bless🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸MERICA
( great video) It was great come up to talk you and your dad to see how good corn was doing .you guys are doing great with harvest H&R is doing a great job of keeping you guys running, Hope you have a great week next week,👍
Man, food delivery three days in a row! You boys living high on the hog! Thanks to everyone for another great video! Good thing you guys have a good team at H&R looking after your red fleet! What a mess with all that oil all over the engine. And everyone that was working on it to get it fixed!
Wanted to wish george and myself a Happy Birthday today. Always a highlight for me when you can spend your B-day combining, but this year, i finished early.
Persistence......is a virtue. Problems happen but a good dealer can make all the difference. Good to see your continuing to make progress. See ya Wednesday.
We have had two rotor gearboxes go out in the past couple years (on an 8240 and a 8250) and both times it was from a snap ring breaking in the gearbox which lets the gears slide aaay from eachother.
Really enjoy watching the different channels were the dad's still farming with their children and grandchildren. It's been many years since I have been able to enjoy those days
Awesome video again and it also proves it takes a whole village to run a farm! Kudos to your dealers for stepping up. No Jay this video how did you ever manage to make it. Have a safe week!
Thank you! Very encouraging on the farm I am not the only one that will eat with dirty hands. LOL! Some lady says something about my dirty hands the other day. City dude. As always this disabled dude appreciate your videos. None of the cussing or bleeping.
A men. Thanks Dennis, all brands have their issue's but it seemed we were field testing for case at our expense. Which would be fine if we were told that and the price matched it. The day their mechanic told me they didn't have the software even written yet for the new monitors we had installed and were costing us downtime. That was it. Thanks for your time and effort. Great videos. Great people.
I was waiting for your dads combine to over heat after all that oil got in the radiator. I know you washed it but I can never get all that oil out of radiators unless I get the steam Jenni out . See ya Wednesday.
Been watching farmers for a long time. Learned a few things like what a shear bolt is(& farmers break a lot of them) how hard farming is on equipment & how outrageously expensive parts are(esp now). You’re right, a lot of farmers have great suggestions on changes that’d make equipment function better for them. For the price you pay, companies should take suggestions. It’d make them more competitive too.
How is the 500 row crop doing with the grain cart after running it for a few weeks? Hopefully you all are able to finish harvest without any more major issues.
I cut all my shields off much easier greeasing, dont meet safety side but dont wanna jack with it for 20 minutes! Yes why on that coupler they dont have on the combine i dont get it either. It would cost them a dollar but charge us 200 for that dang zerk
Please Tell me your personal judge about your x9 demo. Is it worth the more money ?? Thx for sharing, i am allways looking your vids. Greetings from Germany 😊
They break down too. Didn’t you hear David say the X9 was supposed be there to demo a week earlier but it was broke down. They also said the neighbors new X9 the water pump went out the first week of operation.
G.M. ivers thanks fer another informative vid Reese since u got ur ears lowered and shaved hell i dont reconize this hansome young man lol. In my opinon as much acres as ur family farms and the sheer volume of equipment u folks own 1 would think ur input would b well shit very imorptant to the RED company however clearly there support seems to b limited which means to me this year Equip- is faulty and there to busy fixing to much shit to come help and listen to some that spends $$ MILLIONS $$ of ur hard earned american money on there product< The Frustration is real and it costing u money bottom line. Oh well ots sunday morning rekon i will head to church and pray for our farmers more b safe and thanks fer sharining ur family farming experience with us.
Those dam iH combines are sure giving you guys alot of trouble for the money you spend on them you would think iH could build a better quality machine no wounder they lose so many sells to other companies and I am a big iH guy my self but you can't justify spending that kind of money and have those kind of break downs.
PAYING alot of money for poor quality equipment now bunch of over price junk yall having alot of problems with them 9250 combines I'm having the same problem I thank mine was built on beer 30
Because most engineers who design these products have no field experience. They should be out in the field at least 10 yrs before designing anything. But they use computer with CAD or 3D models looks great. HINT why F35 program was so over budget computer working great but after putting it together nooooo
Maybe you should go to Engineering school and then you could fix all that stuff. See if you could even make it thru Calculus I, II, and lll. I doubt you could let alone know what it is? Also, all of the other classes they must take. Maybe you tried to be an Engineer but couldn't make the grade? Did you graduate from High School? Anything with the government always goes over budget. You seem to have all the answers, what else can you tell us and get us all fixed up? Fumb Duck. Go buy a combine in China or Vietnam. Did you vote for Biden?
@@texancowboy9988 You done crying yet and making BS up WOW. Was you beaten with stupid stick because everything you spewed points out you have no F*****g clue. Priceless stuff here and also what I pointed you certainly didn't prove me wrong either. I sure didn't see any intelligent coming from you with belligerent crap. Go read F35 and F22 fighter jet programs and see what went wrong its all been documented. TRY AGAIN

I agree on the grease fittings. Little simple things would make life easier. Great videos
yes like the rotor greaser on 140 150 axial flow very dificult to do every day 😡 they can be more simply since they made th 1480.........

This is a great channel. Keep up the good work.
Great. Well done. Thanks.
Another great week. Huge shoutout to H&R for keeping you guys running!!
Your dealer service is a real plus to keep the machines running. Hope the remainder of harvest is safe and without major issues.

Enjoyed
George just amazes me.

Great video
Always good riding along with George

Any colour will break down but the service that H & R offer is PHENOMENAL
Thank you and your family for sharing your experience and thoughts in your videos. God Bless 🙏
great stuff reese great service from h and r

Reese, so many thanks for this video. Jim in Texas,
It’s unbelievable how much new combine’s have broken down
They all breakdown .
Color makes no difference. They are all junk lol
Thank you as always. Sunday morning routine. Poor Jerry’s…
"Reese got all the glory" 😂 Dennis, you're a great father to "let him" find it first.
Yes Reese, it takes a village to keep a farm running. A farm the size of yours takes closer to a small city.
A men. Thanks Dennis, all brands have their issue's but it seemed we were field testing for case at our expense. Which would be fine if we were told that and the price matched it. You got that right Dennis, like putting the grease zeros on the backside of the universal joints!
you mean "zerk" ? (zerk ) noun. a small metal fitting through which grease can be inserted into a mechanical joint that requires periodic lubrication.
Auto correct thought I meant zero, it hasn’t been farming for over a half a century like l have lol.@@texancowboy9988
We spent about 14hrs total taking out the fuel tank of our 2388 combine, just to spend 10 min welding a spot weld hole.
I was waiting for your dads combine to over heat after all that oil got in the radiator. I know you washed it but I can never get all that oil out of radiators unless I get the steam Jenni out . See ya Wednesday.
amen on grease zirks

Lindo video.
Saludos desde Argentina.
Beautiful skies!! I thought yall might sow a little wheat this year.. guess its a pain harvesting when youre trying to get other things done..
thanks Reese
Nice Vid!
You see me go by in background when you were on the irrigation pivot??
Thanks for another great video! Engineers should listen to farmers on some issues.
Hopefully engineers at case I H are listening. I would not think it be too hard to put a grease zert in.

Great Vid 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽👍👍👍👍🚜🚜

👍👍👍👍👍👍
When we get done farming in Hickman we eat green beans for two days
Have you seen any big bucks this year ?
If an engineer had to repair or do maintenance on something they designed things would improve in a hurry !
Have you guys ever demoed or ran a Lexion combine in corn? I heard those machines are very dominant when it comes to harvesting corn.
Yes, twice and they can fly through the corn. Dealer isn’t very close to us
Will help you do fall tillage for free miss farming no joke
Have u ever had a JD combine? You should just try one for corn. Try a drago GT while your at it.
I cut all my shields off much easier greeasing, dont meet safety side but dont wanna jack with it for 20 minutes! Yes why on that coupler they dont have on the combine i dont get it either. It would cost them a dollar but charge us 200 for that dang zerk
I hear Reese refer to George as Morris a lot. Is that a nickname or where does that come from? Love watching your videos
Why Geringhoff corn header?
can see merum pwr plant
For what you guys pay for that equipment they should be able to make the little things easier for you
Did you find what failed on the hose ? Crimp ?
I guess I asked my question too soon.
Please Tell me your personal judge about your x9 demo. Is it worth the more money ?? Thx for sharing, i am allways looking your vids. Greetings from Germany 😊
The white shirts do not care that hard working farmers have promblems. the only want to sell,em.
I am gettin the feeling u guys are wanting to change to green paint ya’ll having a heck of time with that red paint this year.
They break down too. Didn’t you hear David say the X9 was supposed be there to demo a week earlier but it was broke down. They also said the neighbors new X9 the water pump went out the first week of operation.
Chemtrails not jet-trails , Dennis!!!!!
X9’s on order?
Sounds like these new combines have not been that reliable this year
Ya should've kept the x9
They don't sell parts with easy to maintain equipment.

Dennis I think it all boils down to Common Sense. Common sense isn't very common
How come you dont use wind systems on your bean heads ?
Those dam iH combines are sure giving you guys alot of trouble for the money you spend on them you would think iH could build a better quality machine no wounder they lose so many sells to other companies and I am a big iH guy my self but you can't justify spending that kind of money and have those kind of break downs.

Sure seems like more than your share of problems for new combines.
They all break down. The key is a good dealer like they all praised.
I'll bet that you would have a different take if you bought 3 new Honda CRV's and they all left you stranded in the first month.@@markely3131
Reese, do you have “X”/Twitter? Just wanted to follow you if you did
I don’t, couldn’t get into it when I tried it.
