I've been trying to declutter myself and the back and forth I've been having with myself is ridiculous! Do I need it? No , do I want it? Meh , so naturally I need to keep them all 🙄
@@TheTopNote The cure is to not make it about the fragrance, but how we USE it! If we can treat it as both a work of art AND a tool to enrich the lives of those around us, the rewards are so much greater.
I never hang on to ones I don’t like, I even return to LuckyScent after 1 spray for only 50% refund. I have a curated collection of 75 FBs that I love :)
Me doing a declutter: I have a 30 ml & a 50 ml. I'll give away the 30 ml. Is 30 ml TSA approved? 30 ml will fit nicely in my toiletries travel bag. I'll just keep the 30 just in case. ** reality is wherever I go on vacation, I buy a fragrance.
yeah I really could do a review every day for the next couple of years without having to purchase another drop of perfume if I really wanted to... its pretty nuts....😬
I guess companies have to provide a shelf life figure, but honestly some of the fragrances I’ve had for over a decade are just fine. There is a whole market out there where people buy and sell vintage perfumes. So, if you store them correctly, they will last a long time. :)
Well it depends on what you consider to be affordable. There are a couple of Zara fragrances that are worth checking out (S4ND4LWOOD and Fresh Sandalwood). Samsara by Guerlain is a lovely floral style sandalwood (at least it is very floral on me). Miller et Berteaux Indian Study is a little more pricey at about AUD199 for 100ml bottle but that is one of my favourite sandalwood fragrances and is still a lot more affordable than some of the other “niche” sandalwoods. Hope that helps! ;)
@@TheTopNote Well, I own 6 and my favourite is Fatih Sultan Mehmed (fav frag period), seems Charlatan is the most popular which is also a beaut. Plenty to explore there, you may find something you gravitate towards. Declutter could become reclutter though so sniff wisely 😃
I think the answer is no to this one at least with Australia Post. My understanding is that you need to have a dangerous goods license or send it by courier - and it would need to go by road, not air.
My go-to is to find local groups on facebook etc and if you sell locally you can arrange to exchange or hand them over in person (or use a bike courier haha)
Watching you "declutter" yet keeping every one was a lesson in lack of generosity, to me. Why not just gift some, especially when you have a second bottle? There's enough here for a couple of life times.
Im not sure what you mean I am not keeping the ones I decluttered! I have given away several of the bottles. Some I did sell at a heavy discount because some of them (the niche ones in particular) are very expensive and I paid for them myself - I dont think there is any shame in that.
Love the declutter vids!
Haha I shudder to think what I got rid of! But they are satisfying
I thought I had a perfume addiction.
Thanks for letting me feel a little bit better, Cherie.
Haha here to help! 🤪

It really is difficult. I’m clearly struggling lol
Yes!! Please do a tutorial on how to decant incl from rollerballs! 🙏🏽
Sure thing!
I LOVE that thumbnail Cherie!! To me it says "WHAT have I DONE?" 🤣🤣
Lol I feel like that almost on a daily basis! 😂

Just Add Light that’s true. I’m not trying to get t a particular number but rather try to be honest with myself about how much I really appreciate it.
Hi, Cherie! Declutter, such a difficult task that has to be done so we can justify adding new fragrances😁😉
Haha don’t encourage me! 💞
Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't gel with JHAG! I got a weird halitosis accord from a lot of them 😬
😬😂
whaaaaaaat? O.O
Clicked for the thumbnail.... stayed for Cherie haha ❤️
Haha and yet you didn’t even see me in this one! Lol lots of jazz hands 👐 though 😅
Loving this series! Discovery sets can definitely be a rabbit hole for me too (one of the many, lol)😬 Great video!
Totally! I've been a bit of a sucker for them, actually :)
i have been purchasing just discovery sets now.. and i have a number that i have yet to purchase.. oh my gosh hahaha
Paola Bianka haha yup! 😂

That’s a great way to approach it. I wish we could return opened fragrances in Australia!
TheTopNote yikes!
Love decluttering videos
me too! Although I think maybe I should have decluttered more lol
this thumbnail speaks all the words Cherie
Lol wait until you see the one for part 3! 🤪

Haha I love it - well you don’t need to worry about TSA approval right now! 💞
relatable!!!! XD
So many samples 😍

💖I wish I had a collection to declutter😊
Careful what you wish for! Lol
A fantastic but somewhat difficult challenge and a possible video. A month of wearing samples and tell us what you love and didn't love 😬
I love that idea! Its going on the list! 💕
@@TheTopNote yay! ❤️ Thank you
What do you think about this ‘3 year shelf’ after opening? I’m getting anxiety about using up a purchase after the first spray😂

@@TheTopNote thank you for the reply! Great content 😄
Do you have a good suggestion on a fragrance that’s sandalwood dominant and affordable?

That's interesting you've still got samples from my fave house Fort & Manle, certainly worth a revisit. Anyway, let the declutter continue...
haha it was a big job, whats your favourite from F&M Marcus?

Look so messy, she need to clean & tidy up, so many cheap fragrances
That’s why I’m decluttering 😉
