Robin Williams would have loved, LOVED, that there's a black lady comedian named after him. There's outakes from an interview with a black interviewer telling him she thinks he's got a little black woman inside of him - a suggestion he enjoys so much he riffs on it for like 5 min straight.
She is so incredibly talented & versatile in multiple areas, from writing to performing-been a fan since Larry Wilmore's Nightly Show, then her BET show The Rundown, and now Black Lady Sketch Show-she is hugely impressive !

It didn't last long and was apparently cancelled due to poor ratings, but I thought it was hilarious and on point. Robin Thede was a cast member and head writer for much of its time.

Inconsolable for 20 minutes, easy. "There, there...there there". WTF? Yeah, Robin's gone, but I think I might be alright. Eventually. Just...no music, right? Serious. Or I'm gone again.
I feel like when she was talking about a comic just yelling stuff that isn’t funny and doubling down on it over and over again she’s talking about Dane Cook.
Yea except Dane Cook was funny when he came out. That’s the problem with putting names to things like that, it’s your opinion, and she knows damn well once she puts a name on that she’ll be done because even if she doesn’t like the comedian others will love that comedian. To me it sounded more like Kevin Hart but had she said that all the Kevin Hart fans would be crawling outta the woodworks like termites.
When I first saw a picture of her on *Wikipedia* I honestly thought that she was white since of her light skin tone; then I find out why because she is black on her mom's side and white on her dad's side, yet she mostly seems to be focusing on her black her black side.
she bombed right? like she did the same joke thrice, once in the clip and then twice in the actual interview and nobody laughed, in pardoying the amateur comedian who can't get laughs no matter how hard they try, she actually became one.
Black Lady Sketch Show is the best scripted comedy show since Key & Peele. It's simply hilarious and I can't wait for season 3!
