The dynamic between your character and the sub(marine) is one of the dynamics I love the most. Both really compliment each other, and still let stupid decisions take place.
fun fact concerning the metallic sheen on your lobster; i can't say i've heard of specifically crustaceans or any other marine arthropods integrating metals into their carapace, BUT there is the scaly-foot gastropod, which integrates iron sulfides in its shell and scales and is actually magnetic as a result! they live around deep sea thermal vents, and can actually appear quite different from eachother based on the exact minerals their respective thermal vents are putting out. it's very fascinating stuff, perfect inspiration for stuff like specbio-oriented worldbuilding :]
"multiple leviathan class lifeforms have been detected, are you sure whatever you're doing is worth it?" "also how the hell did we end up in the void? you realy suck at this huh?" -PA system
Honestly the Barracuda at the start of finding Nemo freaked me out as a kid- a predator that literally just appears, stares at you while staying completely still, and then attacks within a fraction of a moment
little nerd tangent about crustaceans, they are literally on a technicality sea “bugs”, you’re 100% correct! They belong to the phylum Arthropoda, which directly relates to the subphylums and subclasses Chelicerata/Arachnida (spiders, scorpions, mites..) and Hexapoda (insects such as ants, bees, etc.) They share many similar characteristics such as a prominent exoskeleton, segmented bodies, and a combination of simple and compound eyes (depending on the animal in question!), along with other characteristics that i can’t be bothered to list here lol Very cool shit, glad to see these aquatic freaks are getting the love they deserve Unrelated fun fact about chelicerates: their male reproductive pedipalps look like little boxing gloves! These are most noticeable on horseshoe crabs, highly recommend googling what these lil guys look like
I'm procrastinating watching this video instead of starting my next sculpting project myself LOL. Kudos to your hard work, these sculpts are incredible and the creative UA-cam video and commentary compliment it perfectly. You are very quickly becoming my new favorite 3d youtuber
I honestly liked the original placement of the antennae, as they looked like devil horns. Maybe that should’ve been incorporated? Other than that, I love these models!
This is one of the best videos on the internet The SKILL the SETTING the BRAWL The textures on these models are absolutely bonkers, the detail is making me go insane
That grind the shark did was sick! 10/10 (Edit: I am now working on my own version of this to do for fun on my free time, I've been pretty bored recently and this really fascinated me, so I decided to try it out)
I liked the sharks design though that crustacean one did feel a bit too much like just an oversized lobster instead of some mutated sea monster. Maybe if it had something like a centipede body it would feel more like a sea monster.
Not only is your 3D work as high quality as its ever been, but I'm loving this developing lore around Bini and his antics! Dinosaur laboratory, making monsters for an ominous mystery door, and now arguing with a submarine over the ethics of disrupting an ecosystem with cool monsters! I for one am living for the mad scientist Bini arc lol
Dude! Your shark leviathan is so freaking cool! Now I kinda want to see what some of your other creature designs could’ve looked like, imagine a giant whale leviathan fighting a squid leviathan, would’ve been pretty cool

Liked. Subscribed. And now, commenting. As I write this comment, I am halfway through your video and am watching you sculpt the giant crustacean. I am learning so much from this video as an aspiring 3D hobby artist. This video gives me the hope and confidence that I can use similar techniques for my own organic models and, potential, animations. What especially helps with this video is you narrating your thought process for each step and each detail added, unlike a bunch of other 3D timelapses. All that said, I look forward to seeing your other videos both past and future and will be keeping a close eye on this channel. Be proud of what you are doing for the 3D community. I know I am. Edit: Just finished watching the video. Still good. As for what I would like to see from you, I see you have a video on the Old Bird from the Lethal Company game and would like to see more projects of a mechanical nature.
I love the design choices. It really makes your sculpts look unique. The quality of your content is amazing. UA-cam needs more creators like you. 1:50, a Subnautica reference, nice. 52:07...?
I just love the style of these videos! You put so much work into them and it really shows!!! Truly an original and entertaining UA-cam series! Great work!
The only thing I’d recommend in the future is coming up with more cohesive color palettes in terms of having some amount of contrast. I was really hoping the saw on the shark would get a darker blue or purple color, but honestly that’s it! Amazing video. Also, your voice is great for this. You can definitely tell how much you love your craft. Keep it up!!!
I just love these videos so much oh my god😩 it's amazing how you can make the process of creating a model so interesting. Honestly would still watch this even if I didn't care about blender
Oh my holy moly, I've only watched 3 of your videos over like the last week and I'm a devoted fan. Absolutely fantastic modeling work and even better monster designs, I will be subscribing and awaiting further updates, can't wait!
42:26 This stylized texturing that shows up for a moment here kind of goes hard. It kind of feels like a nostalgic xbox/ps3/arcade game from the 2010s, or like a classic gritty comic book with a ton of dark texturing lines (ie the original tmnt comic or junji ito)
Hey Bini. I think you should make a Dark Fantasy with Innaccurate depictions of Dinosaurs and other Prehistoric Monsters fighting for survival. Your Monster models are really awesome, and giving them life in even cooler
Love the idea of making your own underwater monster, I love marine live and what you made out of it, at the beginning I just was a little confused and thought you wanted to combine shark and crustaceans features^^"

1:34 technically, there is also the arctic colossal squid. it’s much MUCH larger than the regular giant squid.
but don't the colossal squids have shorter body and longer tentacles?
@@zbignief2788no its the contrary they have larger bodies but shorter tentacles and are overall a lilttle smaller
While colossal squids do have a much larger body than a giant squid, their tentacles are far shorter, making giant squids technically bigger.
