म पनि अहिले ५३ बर्ष को भए, १ रूपैया मा काठमांडु मा कंहा पाउंथ्यो होला थुक्पा 🍜 ४०/४५ बर्षअगाडी ??? मम लाई त ३ रूपैया देखि ५/१० सम्म पर्थ्यो , बरू एककप चिया लाई एकसुका मा पाईन्थ्यो , पाउरोटी एकपिस को एकसुका या मोहर , दुध को तहर टोस्ट लाई १ रूपैया पर्थ्यो, हलुवा स्वारी लाई १/२ रूपैया पर्थ्यो , त्यती बेला पिज्जा बर्गर हरू ५ तारे होटलहरू बाहेक अन्त कतै पनि थिएन । बुढानिलकन्ठ स्कुल तल माथि र मन्दीर वरपर तीर जग्गा १ रोपनि को २/३ हजार रूपैया मा पाईन्थ्यो बरू , तर अहिले आना को ५० लाख भन्दा बढी भन्छन। त्यती बेला बुढानिलकन्ठ तीर जाने स्यानो बिग्रेको बाटो थियो, गाडी त्यती जाने थिएन र घरहरू कता कति मात्र थिए।मलाई थाह हुंदा बुढानिलकन्ठ बाट रत्नपार्क सम्म १ रूपैया भांडा थियो । फ्लिम हेरेको , बाल्कोनि को ८ रूपैया, स्पेसल को ६ रूपैया , फस्टक्लास को ४ र अगाडी सेकेन्डक्लास को २ रूपैया लाग्थ्यो । त्यतीबेला काठमांडु एकदमै सफा थियो , हामिहरू बिष्णुमति बाग्मति मा मज्जा ले पौडी खेल्थ्यौ , धुलो कतै पनि हुनिथिएन , प्रदुषण भन्ने नाम पनि सुनेका थियनौ, मेरो बुढानिलकन्ठ तीर त हिमाल तीर को जस्तो लेक लाग्थ्यो ( जाडो हुनिथियो ), जमाना मा काठमांडु एकदमै जाडो हुन्थ्यो , तर अहिले पहिला को जस्तो हुंदैन , दिनदिनै हुस्सु लाग्थ्यो । असन, न्युरोड, बागबजार , थपाथली, त्रिपुरेश्वर , बसन्तपुर, लाजिम्पाट , दरवार मार्ग कमलादी तीर बाहेक अरू ठांउहरू पुरै खेतै खेत हरियो हुनिथिए। त्यतीबेला हिप्पिहरू सबै झोसे ( बसन्तपुर तीर ) मा बस्थे , खैरेहरू ले आफनै गाडी मा युरोप बाट टर्कि , ईरान, ईराक , अफगानिस्थान, पाकिस्तान , ईन्डिया हुंदै नेपाल आंउथे , त्यती बेला भर्खर्ै पृर्थ्वि राजमार्ग, सिद्धार्थ राजमार्ग पनी राजाहरू ले बनाईदिएका थिए। सबै ले राजा रानिहरू लाई एकदमै माया गर्दथे र मान्दथे, देश र जनता गरीबै भएपनि एकदमै अनुसासन मा थियो , शान्त थियो देश , अहिले का यी चोर लुटेरा हत्यारा नेताहरू लाई राजाले जेल मा राखेको थियो भने कोही भुमिगत थिए , अहिले को जस्तो बिकृती लप्पन छप्पन ठग भ्रष्ट हरू हुनिथिएन , कतै १ जना मान्छे मारेको खबर या चोरे को खवर सुनियो भने गांउले शहर का सबै भेला हुन्थे । त्यती बेला बिदेश जाने भनेको कोही कोही धेरै पैसा भएका , सरकारी कामकाज या त ब्रिटीश सेना मा भर्ती भएर जाने या त खैरे हरू ले लगीदिने मात्र हुनिथिए। सन १९८० /१९८३ ताका तीर कलर फोटो खिच्न फोटो स्टुडीयो मा गईन्थ्यो, तर कलर फोटो पाउन भने ४/५ महिना बढि लाग्थ्यो किनभने नेपाल मा कलर ल्याब नै थिएन , खिचेका फोटोहरू हंगकंग सिंगापुर बैंकक मा धुन पठांउथे लाहुरे या ब्यापारीहरूलाई , तिनिहरूले फेरी नेपाल फर्कने साथिहरू संग पठाईदिन्थे।नेपाल मा टि भी भन्दा छिटो भिडीयो आयो, सन १९८२ को दशक तीर काठमांडु मा भिडीयो डेक आयो, मानिसहरू ले २/५ रूपैया तिरेर ईंगलिस फिल्महरू हेरिन्थ्यो, पछि जतात्यतै भिडीयो हल राख्थे, पछि गांउ गांउ तीर धरी जेनेरेटर बाट धरी फिल्म देखाएर पैसा कमाउथे । हो , सन १९८० सम्म मा ८५% नेपालीहर संग जुत्ता 🥾👟हुनिथिएन , यो त सत्य हो ।
त्यती बेला को नेपाल एकदमै स्वर्ण युग थियो, गरीब थियो होला तर सबै सन्तोस थिए , अहिले को जस्तो धर्म , जातपात , महिला , पुरूष हरू सबै मिलेरै बसिन्थ्यो क्यारे , दमै लाई दमै भन्दा पनि रिसाउने थिएन , आफनो भाग कसैले खोज्थेन, दंशै मान्दैनम भनेर कसैले भनेको सुनिन्थेन, राई लिम्बु तंमाग बाहुन क्षत्रि सबैले राजारानि हिंदु र बौद्द धर्म मान्दथे , कसैले कसैलाई गाली गर्दैनथे । त्यतीबेला अचम्म को कुरा के भने धनि भारतिय हरू को लागी काठमांडु भने दुबई हंगकंग जस्तो हुन्थ्यो , भारतिय सेलेब्रेटीज र धनिहरू बिदेशि सरमानहरू किन्न काठमांडु आउने गर्दथे, ईन्डियन हरू ले जिन्स डेनिम पाईन्ट किन्न नेपाल आंउदथे , बिदेशि गाडी मोटरसाईकिल हेर्न नेपाल आंउदथे किनभने भारत मा त्योबेला बिदेशि सरसमानहरू प्रतिबन्ध थियो ।
