Drove an ex British Airways Crusader I thought they were the best 👌 looking split screen cab of its time also used it with a drawbar for recovery another great vid
I drove a Trunker 3, but always had a desire to drive a “Roller” 280, just love them. Unfortunately (??) we went the F88 way and I never did get to drive one. Proper British wagon.
A Real Lorry. So underrated... Super photos. Thank You.....

Without doubt, Scammell crusader, full sleeper, 6x4 with Detroit power, one of The best looking trucks ever built. But that's just my opinion🤔
I like the guy on top of the pallets, h&s would have kittens if they saw anything like that today.

Blimey 15seconds in looked like a Sissons Truck, used to see those all over Leeds at one time. Always liked the Crusaders 👌
The best
Thank you
I remember Tesco running a few of these.
AHHHH memories from when i was ALIVE.
With a bit more attention to driver comfort sound insulation, sleeper cab redesign this could have been a much better truck than it was
Scammel you couldn't have conversation with anyone without shouting in their cabs, thats about all I can remember about them it was that long ago lol
Malcolm cotterill outside his house 😂😂😂😂
I always liked the
Scammall Crusader but I'm nearly sure I saw a
Rottinof.
Parnerbys and Sunter
Brothers had Rotinoffs. There used to be one at Smith's Transport in
Clitheroe, Lancashire.
Cheeky little photo bomb by the BRS Overland Marathon😂😂
Crusader....a fine looking lorry back in the day👍🏼
