You need to watch some the the behind-the-scenes and 'Dimash being funny' videos. He actually has a wonderful sense of humor. In fact, on Singer, the other contestants thought he was an absolute joy and talked about how he would tell jokes in Kazakh and then be laughing at himself BY himself because no one else knew what he was saying. 😅 When you get his funny side then his music videos like "Be With Me" and "Smoke" are even better because you connect with him over the humor he deliberately but subtly weaves in.
