      Are you trying to make a pendant with a heart shaped cabochon? This is a good basic wrap: ua-cam.com/video/aqp10UhptiE/v-deo.html In the video I use an oval, but it can be done with heart shaped cabochon instead.

    Thanks so much for sharing! I have a scraps question. How short does a wire have to be to not be useful for any project. Does it depend on the gauge?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  3 роки тому

      you can always use super short scraps to make links for chains.

    Putting tape on the pliers can protect the wire from being scratched. Electrical tape might be best because it has some cushion to it.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  3 роки тому

      yes, definitely a good alternative if you don't have nylon pliers. Painter's tape seems to leave the least amount of sticky residue.

    Can you explain why/when you wrap over or under? And if there's a difference? I notice you wrap under on this video. Do you always wrap under instead of over?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  3 роки тому

      I hadn't noticed, it is just random I think, whatever feels more comfortable when I'm holding the wire
