Hi Evan, thank you for all the motivational clips. I watch them as a daily routine, first thing in the morning. I've been watching for several months now and literally hooked. As a result, I can relate to Eric Thomas, I procrastinated about studying. It taking me close to 10 years to finish my undergraduate degree. Note, I was top of the class but I was determined to get a first class degree, so determined that the fear paralysed me and stopped me from action. Today, on the 10th year, I decided I'm completing my dissertation. In the 10 years, however, decided to start a postgraduate course, literally finished writing that yesterday and ready to submit today (still without my dissertation). So next few months, I am concentrating on getting that undergraduate dissertation out of the way and I'm applying to do a PHD! All because of finding your videos. Listening to people who I can relate to, leaders who have failed, got up, dusted themselves and kept going. So 2017, I intend to dominate. No excuses, get 2 degrees out of the way and start working towards a third. So I took from this video - seize the opportunity. We are all given opportunities, so I'm no longer squandering mine. And of course, the word one... believe! PS: I'll be looking to buy your book since you have been such an inspiration. Thank you Evan.

I am an #MS Warrior; given a disabling future that I refused to receive in my mind and heart. I had only watched Eric Thomas’ How Bad Do You Want It Video. This video is what I used to motivate my athletic kids and their friends. However, it was the video that motivated me to fight my own #MS diagnosis in 2014. I had to be put on disability and I worked out in the gym daily getting myself back to health. I’m glad that I am able to find his other messages. I used that one video to avoid the wheelchair. I am moved to hear the story of his wife with MS. So I “PUSHED THROUGH IT”. This year I took myself off Disability and I will NOT let this beat me. I survived to make sure my 3 kids knew what it meant to not give up!

I felt terrible that I had put my babies through that, then I realized that I TAUGHT them by EXAMPLE how to RISE!!!!!!! #8, "Execute" ..."One False Start!" ...we may not get a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th chance. (Which ties in with #2 "Be Ready To Seize All Opportunities." We may not know what the outcome will look like but keep training and preparing and be ready so when the opportunity comes...). No excuses, just adjustments; keep executing and it will be worth it. I work very hard at everything I do and I describe myself as having a champion mindset. Since finding your UA-cam channel last week I've listened to 50 videos already and realizing I needed my mindset to be elevated even higher and broader and the shift in perspective of all the "10 Rules For..." has ignited a fire in me to take action on some ideas and passions I have. Evan, I just finished watching part 1 to your ET Top 10 list. #3 was my top rule in that one. Now I'm watching this one. I started writing this during your introduction. I'll finish it in a minute. #1 Made me cry! I have to leave a model for my kids. Evan, I have 7 kids. I was a father of 5 boys 8 years ago thinking I was the pro! Then God threw me a curve ball. I got a little girl. I didn't want to be the father of a daughter, not because I don't thought it's awesome but because I was scared. I didn't know how I was going to be an example for my little girl. That little girl changed my life. She is a blessing. 3 years ago God threw me another one... another girl. This time I was like YES, I got this. I connected with this video the moment ET said that his wife needed to be a model for her daughter. I need to be a model for my 7 children. I connected with this. #4 YOU WILL NOT OUTWORK ME! This one was the best one! This is my favorite one. You have to work harder than the next guy if you want to outdo the next guy. Evan, can I bare my soul for a minute? Its 7:40 am EST 7/2. I have been up sense 4am (which is my wake up time everyday.) I am a 1st time entrepreneur while going to school for a Masters and fighting depression and PTSD with flashbacks on and off. I live with my spiritual mentor/Leader and business partner who is determined to see my produce what she says she knows is in me: Greatness. I woke up with a serious case of wanting to call it quits. God has given us a massive vision and it seems damn near impossible to accomplish. There are good days and really bad days and lately the stress and pressure has been enormous. I have heard from many successful people that when it gets like this you are on the verge of a major breakthrough. Well I did not feel like that this morning. So you popped up on UA-cam and I clicked on his video when he was being disrespected and then saw your vid about him on the side so I clicked on it and hope stirred up in me. Your volume 2 came on and when he told the story about the Belgium horses it spoke volumes to me. I burst out in huge crocodile tears because it was what I needed to hear and I completely lost it when he said "when you train them together they can pull 25klbs" My mentor and I are building a global organization from scratch and have been doing it sense the beginning and that line right there opened my eyes to see that what i go through is worth and what I went through prepared me for it. Thanks. I'm done with my rant LOL:) This was good therapy for me. Also, maybe one day, you will do a video about me.
Here's some tips for becoming successful. 1) Take control of your own health. 2) Learn about the power of the mind. 3) Follow in the tracks of people who have already done what you plan to do. I found these tips from the Magic Progress Shortcut (check it out on google) without a doubt the most helpful course on becoming wealthy & successful that I've heard of.
Eric Thomas's is a Beast. Today, I will work towards that which I want. Why? Because it’s personal, it’s something I want. It’s something that’s mines; it’s something I could only get by working towards it. I am willing to pay the price in order to get it. If I could give 100% of myself to my job why can’t I give 100% to myself?

Before hand, "don't be outworked" was the one that resonated most, but recent experiences have lead me to read need "push through it" and "leave your mark" - funny how what is going on, dictates which message you need most.
My favorite tip was where your focus is that’s where your energy flows. There is so much focus nowadays on what people don’t want instead of what they do want. I need to follow his advice and be selective of where I put my energy.

Evan, I just finished watching part 1 to your ET Top 10 list. #3 was my top rule in that one. Now I'm watching this one. I started writing this during your introduction. I'll finish it in a minute.
#1 Made me cry! I have to leave a model for my kids. Evan, I have 7 kids. I was a father of 5 boys 8 years ago thinking I was the pro! Then God threw me a curve ball. I got a little girl. I didn't want to be the father of a daughter, not because I don't thought it's awesome but because I was scared. I didn't know how I was going to be an example for my little girl. That little girl changed my life. She is a blessing. 3 years ago God threw me another one... another girl. This time I was like YES, I got this. I connected with this video the moment ET said that his wife needed to be a model for her daughter. I need to be a model for my 7 children. I connected with this.
#4 YOU WILL NOT OUTWORK ME! This one was the best one! This is my favorite one. You have to work harder than the next guy if you want to outdo the next guy. I don't care if you are prettier, taller, richer, hotter, nicer, better than me... YOU WILL NOT OUTWORK ME!

When I was in 6th grade, my English teacher told me that I had an incredible ability to tell stories about the things I see in the world. She would ask me to write stories, 2 or 3 paragraphs long about things around me, and then she would read these stories in front of the class. Evan, can I bare my soul for a minute? Its 7:40 am EST 7/2. I have been up sense 4am (which is my wake up time everyday.) I am a 1st time entrepreneur while going to school for a Masters and fighting depression and PTSD with flashbacks on and off. I live with my spiritual mentor/Leader and business partner who is determined to see my produce what she says she knows is in me: Greatness. I woke up with a serious case of wanting to call it quits. God has given us a massive vision and it seems damn near impossible to accomplish. There are good days and really bad days and lately the stress and pressure has been enormous. I have heard from many successful people that when it gets like this you are on the verge of a major breakthrough. Well I did not feel like that this morning. So you popped up on UA-cam and I clicked on his video when he was being disrespected and then saw your vid about him on the side so I clicked on it and hope stirred up in me. Your volume 2 came on and when he told the story about the Belgium horses it spoke volumes to me. I burst out in huge crocodile tears because it was what I needed to hear and I completely lost it when he said "when you train them together they can pull 25klbs" My mentor and I are building a global organization from scratch and have been doing it sense the beginning and that line right there opened my eyes to see that what i go through is worth and what I went through prepared me for it. Thanks. I'm done with my rant LOL:) This was good therapy for me. Also, maybe one day, you will do a video about me.
