Does anything actually look different? I don't think I saw any differences. Kind of sad... almost all of the Affliction spells barely even have animations. Thanks for the video though!
+moyga Ye it's a bit disappointing. The only things I noticed were the defensive buffs, hardened resolve and dark pact (think that's what its called?).
Roky King *Shrugs* gaming productions are a bit of a tricky thing. Animations might change a bit later, remember we have a whole 9 months before it is released.
Roky King *Shrugs* Changes DO happen a good bit into Beta you know. Animations is not really the hardest thing to change in a game. (honestly, for example in the WoD beta was the Dwarven female animation changed, since the first version had a too big mouth when roaring)
The lamest part is the fact that THEY *STILL* DON'T USE WEAPON TO CAST. What's the point of having a badass weapons if it just stays on your back 90% of the time?!
I would honestly be happy if they at least just held onto it in one hand and cast / channeled with the other. and if that's really too much to ask then at least let me transmogg the staff into a dagger so i don't have to look at it.
+Urska Jinx but think about it like this; imagine if a ret pally couldn't see his Ashbringer while he fought, and he used his fists instead. That's why it's a problem.
AngerIssuez that isnt the issue cuz u CAN. this is nothing new that caster weapons sit on them and u dont cast with the. this game is 12 years old and always been this way. QQing about a staff is pointless. be happy u dont have a hiden offhand or caster fist weapon dont attack with ( moot point for casters)=/= cant see it (really sucks)

Kinda disappointed with soul effigy. Thought it will be something different. But will see when it goes live

its on ur back n looks epic... nothing wrong with this UNLESS its a fist weapon and ur a caster...
