Jeff, great episode. Love the meeting with architects. It’s a wonderful marriage between builder and designer. Also wife and I stayed at a B&B down the street. What a beautiful area. Thank you for bringing this content to us!!
Another great one. I appreciate seeing some of the detail conversation with the architect. Interesting to see how decisions get made on the finer details
I'd love to see a simple floor plan for this house. It would have helped in this episode when the project architect was discussing the upside down layout. Also, is the open ground level going to be used for anything like parking? Is it going to be semi-enclosed with break-away walls?
Great show. Love watching you on this old house very knowledgeable and likeable. I like what you are doing with this show. What do you prefer as the top exterior insulator/vapor barrier? This my first time seeing the Blueskin on a house and have been seeing more and more of the Zip system. Is there a best in class you recommend?
Hi Alex, thanks for the kind words and great question. Our preferred exterior wall assembly is a self adhered WRB that is air tight but vapor open over 5/8" T & G Advantek (strong and flat & no need for shear blocking). On the interior, 2" of closed cell spray foam for air sealing, vapor barrier and wall adhesion followed by Rockwool batts for balance of R-Value and sound attenuation.
I'd love to be able to watch this, its very interesting but someone over did it on the background music. Very difficult to watch and hear what everyone is saying. You don't need background music through the whole video.
I wanted to enjoy watching these episodes more but the background music and miscellaneous sound is overly distracting. And add in all the camera angles it’s just too much crammed in. It doesn’t need so much jazzing up and actually hides the good content. The whole video seems like an extended intro and comes off as a hodgepodge. Instead, slow down, let the story speak for itself. Then evolve the story from episode to episode so people stay connected. Hopefully this criticism helps because the intent is constructive. But glad to see Sweenor on here trying something new. Can’t wait to see the progress of this media project like your built ones!
Great show. I'm really enjoying the content. But please, ensure all your guys wear harnesses. A fall will change the victims life, and yours....forever.
Love seeing your guys keep the plywood run continuously up as you’re standing walls! And it’s Plywood not osb! 💪🏻👌🏻
Sweenor builders giving back to the community with the Grist Mill is Awesome. Can’t wait to see next week’s episode!

Thanks for the feedback and for watching Dave!

Great content but guys dial back the background music and get some better mikes, sound is way to tinny . . .good luck
Do you ever use ZIP-R sheathing systems?
We have used Zip R-9 for exterior insulation, check out the Jamestown Net Zero project on This Old House.
Tough to use that product on the coast. You need to sheath the house first then put the zip R over that to get the shear strength.
Jeff, thanks. A bit too much percussion. I’d prefer maybe some baroque music.
Thank you for the feedback! Always appreciated.

Thank you for your feedback!
I tried several times and video will not load
It’s a UA-cam issue currently
Thanks for trying! We got an "oh no! looks like something is happening on UA-cam right now" for a few minutes as well. Hopefully fixed.

Noted, appreciate your input!
Great video - music too loud and doesn't fit
Show has potential, I like the content but i didnt stay to the end because of the music blasting. Even while narrative was underway .
Hi Ron, thank you for the kind words and the feedback your comment is noted. And thanks for watching.
The audio track was a bit out of whack on this video. The music was overpowering the dialogue and everything else.
Love the videos but the music is annoying.

Please lose the music while someone is talking. Cheers
Agreed, I had to turn on Closed Captions.
