When I think of season ten of M2M, I struggle to recall Phaedra's involvement because she was so forgettable. She didn't make sense over there, and she doesn't make sense on RHOA at this point, especially given Bravo's terminating Kenya for sexual misconduct of sorts. How do you make a move like that, then turn around and rehire someone who was fired for fabricating rumors of her castmate plotting a sexual assault? The hypocrisy is too real.
Kandi gave her mama, her aunts, her relationship with Riley's dad, her kids, her father, Todd's mom, her businesses, her cousins, Executive Produced Broadway with A-listed Actors, Executive Produced The Color Purple (Broadway). She and Todd wrote and produced a movie starring Drew. She's twice Emmy Nominated. Kandi gave all that she could give to that show. It was time for her to go so that she could achieve her dream for an EGOT, and she will attain that. No other castmate can run a list of accomplishments on RHOA or off that show. And to say she gave nothing is crazy!
Also, as far as Kandi and Pheadra. You don’t have to like Kandi but what Pheadra did was wrong. I also feel like there could’ve been some legal repercussions. I know if it had happened now it would be. The fact that Kandi took a lie that was put out to destroy her and made money off of it doesn’t excuse what Phaedra did. That could’ve ruined her career and brand because no one will hire or work with anyone accused of SA and that’s exactly what Phaedra did. And she has never apologized. Kandi said she forgave Porsha because she apologized. Phaedra refused and wont even allow it to be discussed if she’s on a show.

This was a much-needed video for me. I’ve never understood the Phaedra hype and thought it was just me. Even when she was on RHOA in my opinion she brought nothing but lies. Like who don’t have an idea of how far along they are in their pregnancy. It was Apollo and Kenya that made her have a storyline, and then he had to admit that he was lying on Kenya, so both of them were nothing but liars. Phaedra has hopped from show to show, with fake relationships. She was even on VH1 Boot Camp or whatever that show was with a fake relationship. I said she must have something on someone at that network for them to keep her employed.
NAY for me. Yes, people find Phaedra entertaining. But, many of her actions have not just been TV drama. They had real-world impact that was nasty. She doesn't need to be platformed by Bravo.
RHOA is my favorite franchise so I’m going to watch this upcoming season, but I’m not moved by Phaedra’s return. I think that people equate bringing back these old faces means that she show HAS to be good. Her return doesn’t necessarily mean that it’ll be a great season. Reality tv is just different now! I was indifferent to her on M2M and that could be because of the group - she simply wasn’t a good fit to me. The RHOA ladies seem to be more her speed, but I think people need to lower their expectations. I think the only thing that will make this a good return is if she addresses the elephant in the room. With that, I am curious to see her and Shamea’s dynamic and how that will play out.
Carlos King dropped the Kandi and Porsha rumor back then and wanted Phaedra to be the bone carrier of the rumor or even they both came to Porsha with it because Carlos has a hard on for Kandi. Kandi can’t prove it but Phaedra and Carlos were both let go that same year. I believe Phaedra regretted affirming that rumor. In my opinion, I do think there was some sexual situations that could have went on between Kandi and Porsha or at least discussed and I believe CARLOS inflated their dynamic to get under Kandi’s skin. Overtime, we have come to know Porsha for some of her sexual situations, one in particular Kandi technically set up (the Bolo party where Porsha may have fucked Bolo and maybe Drew/Sonya) Back when the rumor happened, Phaedra was in her feelings about Kandi and Todd basically taking Apollo’s side or at least coming across like they were with helping him out before he went away. Kandi was justifiably upset with the “drugging Porsha” accusations cause at that same, TI and Tiny were already wrapped in a similar but worse situation. Ever since then, I always remember how Phaedra was looking at Porsha because for a moment there, Porsha agreed with the rumor but then flipped at the reunion that season. Cause honestly, it just doesn’t make sense that someone would go along with an allegation just to be shocked at it in a different setting so what I deduce from that was that Porsha and Kandi did have a little something there and Porsha believed it because whatever happened between them could have been in a setting where drinks were involved. Kenya messed up because she did all that on her own, or at least some of her friends helped her get actual footage and displayed it in a place where no one was expecting that and it’s explicit sexual activities of another cast member, and she was displaying the footage with intent to shame the new girl. So I believe Kenya’s actions were more severe, both had to be fired. Phaedra pretty much helped Traitors get an Emmy. Traitors is a Bravo show. Phaedra has shown growth and maybe an apology was made behind the scenes. Back in the day, Kandi literally said she would not be on the show if Phaedra was there and now Kandi is not so there’s that. It’ll be nice to see them follow her during this upcoming Emmy season so there is some content there. We love her kids so we may get some decent content.

AND.. just like Tasha K got sued by Cardi b for defamation.. if what Phaedra (an attorney, who would know the elements for defamation) not only would’ve been sued and lost easily. But Kandi then pretended to be hurt & went on a dungeon tour and was named in some of the TI & Tiny lawsuits for s*xual exploitation.. sooo I don’t see why people care so much.
I’m honestly not excited to see Phadrea back. She didn’t give anything to M2M and I don’t think she’s going to give anything to RHOA. I would’ve been more shocked if she just popped up instead of announcing it before the season starts
