Really enjoyed listening to this, what a talented singer song writer David is. Just class.
I know every song David does. Have been a fan for many a year. What a beautiful soul this man has not to forget to mention a great songwriter, singer and musician. People like this don't come along all that often if you know what I mean. And a side note I was at a live performance in Austin Texas where he performed outside with his original band with Clune.
Clune also played this gig on the White Ladder songs.

I've been listening to David Gray for over 10 years. His writing and his personal approach in performing is such a blessing. We are gathered comfortably around his stage at the same time your recliner or what have you. It is such an intimate experience. David really expresses his heart and draws you besides him and your fellow listeners. The darkness, the mist, lights, clapping,dancing, cheering. Oh, how he gets everyone mesmerized and in love with his music

Had tickets for this show for 3 years...covid! Had seen DG in Atlanta and St. Augustine and have been a fan since White Ladder! We were looking at tour dates for shows around the Southeast, but when we saw Red Rocks (bucket list!), we had to do it! Got premier tickets, 7th row, including the sound check. Red Rocks was amazing!! Weather was perfect! David was the epitome of classic singer/songwriter/entertainer! So thrilled to find the stream, although it doesn't really do the LIVE justice!😊
I was at the show and it was also a bucketlist show for me too. Not just going to RR which was my first time but also getting to see DG do White Ladder

Was 22 in the West Coast of Scotland when this album came out. Man ,me and the mates had a brilliant time listening to this album everytime we met up and partied into the small hours. 46 now, and im back to listen to some of the music I loved,especially White Ladder, it's something special.🏴

Thankyou for posting I was fortunate to have seen David near the beginning of the White Ladder tour at Bournemouth , England. It was an unforgettable evening . I especially loved the David Bowie story and the outro . David and his band really were great and I am now addicted to Please Forgive Me .

I saw the Nashville show of this tour, but it was shortened due to bad weather. It was great to watch this and see the whole show, even though I was hoping he would play Late Night Radio. I had been hoping for a concert DVD. This video is just as good. Thanks.
Took this show in live along with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. A very special evening and David Gray is truly awesome in concert. Red Rocks is incredible! Unlike any venue anywhere If you ever get the chance to take in a show in Morrison you ought to make the effort. You will not regret it. Thanks for sharing!

Clune takes over drums for the white ladder set. Some of those fills remain suspect, but it's a lovely touch....Loved this show, Rob and Neil super as usual. Thanks for posting

i went also. first time at RR traveled from IN to be there. seemed like forever with the delay but when i was finally there and in my seat it was so surreal. one of the best live experiences ive ever had

I'm 72 now and about 22 yrs ago in S.F. I had one of only 3 deeply romantic gestures in my life, this one from an Argentinian young man singing and playing this song Babylon for me suddenly outside where I lived. I didn't even know he knew how to play guitar. It was exquisitly wonderful. Never to forget Luciano. Thankyou.

For sure, people can be nasty with their comments. However, this woman could also be considered nasty and obnoxious. Acting with total disregard for David and those around her. The issue doesn't appear to be a question of her declaring her love for David. But rather the completely inappropriate timing, shrill delivery, and exorbitant frequency.
STANDARD CONCERT ETTIQUETTE:
DO’s:
1)Cheer and applaud together as an audience.
2)Be quiet together as an audience, ESPECIALLY when the performer is speaking and performing.
3) Stand/dance or sit together as an audience.
4.) Have an awesome time and take away great memories.
DON’T’s:
1)Talk, scream or yell incessantly. There are people around you, and this is beyond annoying. Most likely ruining the show for many people. It’s also disrespectful and can be distracting to the artist.
2)Stand or dance in front of people who are sitting unless most of the audience is standing and/or dancing.
Sorry, but this woman, sounding like a sick cat in an alley, doesn’t need to publicly declare her love for David more than *30 times* throughout the show, and to the entire Red Rocks audience...who came to hear David, not her.
Right out of the gate (~0:43) she starts screeching and wailing while David is talking. And continues to do so through the show. Plain rude. Completely disrespecting him and the others around her trying to listen to him. Much sympathy for them.
This woman disrupted the smooth, organic ebb and flow David normally develops with his audiences. Ruined the video too. It’d be nice if they could edit her out and re-post.
Apologies for this lengthy reply. Simply a perspective regarding the few who ruin shows for the people around them, and possibly the artist. And only after a person has experienced this obnoxious disregard near them, will they understand this point of view.
