First off let me say that I absolutely love and adore these 2 and I hope they continue to have a long and healthy relationship. You made a point in the video about Serena and her setting boundaries for their relationship but let’s be honest Kordell agreed to those boundaries and I believe that part of that is due to Kordell lacking boundaries. No one can be controlled if they set firm boundaries. Another thing that a lot of people talked about this season was how Serena spoke on how Kordell was too agreeable but Kordell himself admitted in his confessional that he just didn’t want to say the wrong thing. I believe he liked Serena so much and felt like he had to not be himself in order for her to like him. I think once he started to just be himself their relationship dynamic changed and I think they both realized how compatible they were. I give both of them grace because they’re young and they can learn from this experience. Kordell needs to set boundaries and Serena needs to learn how to better express herself without the full on crash out 😂. Hey she can do it. If I can anyone can learn how to control theirs emotions because my mouth use to be way worse than Sereana’s.
I 100% agree!! kordell definitely wasn’t standing in his own energy enough in the beginning and part of that is why I feel like serena WAS so shocked when he did what he did at casa…
I agree with almost everything that you said in the video the only thing I disagree with is Kordell and Daia meshing together better. I think people forget that Casa people kind of get a cheat sheet before going into Casa. They get to watch the show and can kind of feel out the OG cast. Daia did the total opposite of what Serena did and it worked! Do I believe they had chemistry yes. Sexual chemistry and that was about it. I believe Daia told Kordell everything he wanted to hear and it got her in the Villa.

The only thing that you didn't take into consideration is editing and production. I believe Serena & Kordell were ALWAYS into each other, but how boring would the show have been without these " conflicts"? If this were real life, your analogy would be spot on. But, this is reality TV, baby. Some of these moments were encouraged and edited to tell a narrative.
that’s why I specified i’m only looking at their relationship from a reality tv point of view! I viewed them more as characters and had no interest in watching their stuff outside the villa because my objective on the channel is to analyze shows. if I brought it outside if that realm, it would just seem like i’m digging into the real them. also why I wished them a long and beautiful relationship outside the villa.🤍

Even without the context it doesn’t take extensive research (I mean you just have to watch the show ofc) to see that their conversation before the dance game was kordell starting the convo with a reminder that they’re open. Though they were told different things- we can pretend that they were asked the same question during twist or stick and paint it as Serena thinking she had the leeway to choose the explore different connections (and probably thought kordell would do the same.) Viewing it in this perspective opens a lot of potential theories though it does take away the legitimacy 🥲
I see a show that is highly edited. I took them at face value. The pair knows they were told something different during Stick or Twist. Whatever you think Serena is - Kordell wants. Love Island rules of testing every connection only work in this isolated pressure cooker. She protected herself and he understood that. They both took accountability, truly apologized and forgave. I think they truly cherish one another.

Watching some spoilers cuz i didnt watch the show i thought kordelll is the one in the wrong but after watching this video how did they make him ghe villain when he is def not and it was her ????
I don’t think either of them are the villain is my main point. overwhelmingly fans jumped to serena’s side and had no empathy for kordell which I felt was incredibly wrong because he’d been nothing but respectful of her up until casa when he truly got the chance to explore other options. I think the only thing I can fault kordell for is saying he wasn’t going to kiss anyone at casa (to himself/his boys!!) and then doing it anyway. that’s it. everything else was blown outta proportion because serena kept talking about how they weren’t closed off the entire season lol
