Growing up hearing the Melee version, I never would've guessed the track was so faithful, I was shocked the first time I actually heard the original. Goes WAY too hard for an NES track. It almost sounds like if someone just made an 8-bit remix of the one in Melee, this is amazing.
Even the Melee version it was remixed with the Great Palace Theme, in the personal those who listened that song in NES times they was a real Masters player.

I have to know, how does the snare only sound when both headphones are turned on? I can only listen with 1 headphone at work and it sounds different with just one.
I dunno, there was always that part of me that thought the beginning part of the song would have the words "Link, there is a monster, a monster, he's gonna get ya" or something like that as lyrics. Or in the Game Grumps' case, Scrumf.

I like the Melee version, but the NES is the definitive imo. Solid fire. 🔥🔥
I love this game and the soundtrack. One of my fave games of all time. I played it so much as a kid and even now.
My favorite Zelda even though Tears is so amazing. It's just so unique and IMO needs a remake and to redeem itself from its black sheep reputation

@Thookah V Also you just need to remember that the Stalfos doesn’t lower it’s Shield.
@Thookah V Also further more, the Blue Stalfos can use a Downward Thrust.
@Thookah V Also Stalfoses can drop Red Magic Jars or Treasure Bags worth 200 Experience Points whenever you take out any of them.
