Mr. Old Mechanic. Thanks to you and your videos I cleaned the front and back brakes on my 2001 Kawasaki 1500e Classic. I also replaced my brake hose. You gave me the confidence to do this. My new rear brake pads on the non piston side nearest the wheel won't fit! Seems it's too tight, any suggestions? Is it a floating caliper, can it move?

Hi Mark, if your brakepads won't fit you got the wrong ones mate 😉

Definitely correct. It's the floating caliper that's not moving, it's seized up.

Any ideas? Is it a floating caliper system as there seems to be a threaded screw on one of the plates?
