We had 2 of them at one point, both 3SS. We got an 06 when it first came out, and then got an 08 a year and a half later, so we had 2 black (well one was just the Black, and the other one was the Black Granite) SS’s for about 6 months, great great cars.
My mum had a 2005 Trailblazer LT loaded with all the options that year had available except for nav. We got it at 40k miles and traded it in at about 90k miles. We loved it, and ever since we had that one I found out they had an SS model, I always wanted one, but they’re pretty rare to find and even more with low miles.
@@trivvyestor5525 That I'm aware of, the SS trailblazer is the sport version hence the SS which stands for "Super Sport" its also the more expensive version of them. Engine wise It comes with a V8 engine (a super charged engine/or a corvette engine) The exterior is really different. Different headlights, grille, rims, bumpers and etc. Interior is not much different that I know of. Ive seen some with cloth seats and some with leather interior. But leather is also offered on some LT models and I think comes standard on the LTZ model. In my opinion the SS model is realllly nice to look at. And it's a pretty fast car given the style of vehicle that it is.
6arcia I think it was because he bought it from a buy here pay here and it was having electrical issues n etc but he not good with taking care of vehicles
Unfortunately that Trailblazer got discontinued. What replaced that vehicle was the Traverse in 2009. Now Chevy has made a cool new crossover. The Trailblazer. The same name as that vehicle.
Not saying you should sell it but in the current car market more than it ever will be. Can't remember the last time I saw one of these that was in good shape.
Yea I had 06 Impala SS with that electrical issue. I did get it figured out but I found out later on how common of a problem it was with Chevy's mid 06-09 models
Are these navigation screens touch screens? Every time I watch a review of one of these trucks wether it’s a Tahoe, Yukon or Escalade and they have these screens the person doing the review never mentions if they are and they use the physical buttons rather than touch if they are.
You can remove the headrest the rear seat headrest arent designed to be removed but there are two clips on either side of the post that go into the seat backs pop those out and the headrest will come right out.
I wanted it until you showed the aftermarket air filter. I want buy a car with one. The owner probably did something else stupid trying to make it faster.
@nashmalkin1371 The stock air filter is not restricting air flow. The SS use the same filter as the 275 hp inline 6. I bet you didn't see that on the youtube dyno video.
I have the 2008 lt i6 4200 blazer and it’s my pride and joy. 143000 miles and running perfect.
Great review! Wish GM would revive the SS trim on the TBs.

What’s that difference between the normal one and the ss model ?

I really like these trucks. You should slow down the camera as you show the details. Good overall review though.
Wow, this one has more miles than my standard 2006 LS model!
My brother had one of these an 08 but he had lots of issues so he traded it in on a 16 vw jetta
He probably got scared from the power. lol

@@immature1990 thats why. Not hating on your brother but you kinda gotta keep gm vehicles well maintained
My Brother Used To Have the same car back in early 2009! 😃

Old 2008 Chevy Trailblazer SS Is So Many Times Faster And Better Than New 2021 Chevy Trailblazer LS
Makes me wonder how much my (original owner with less than 60K milage) '08 SS, in good shape, would be worth.

@@Jakeman21642 Thanks.
These can get finicky with electrical issues. I think it’s the ecm that can throw things off and can be a bitch to figure out.

Huge Fan keep it up!

How much was it sold for?
Why nobody drives it in the reviews? Does it really spents too much fuel or what?
How much do you sell?
My mom has 2002 chevy trailblazer LT 145k miles
WOW!!
That’s a big engine for a small suv
I want one so bad
Very nice

To bad this video is 4 years later because that ss got me sold i would buy it comes with a lot of handy stuff
I need like this car

Yes fun to drive until you need to refuel. Damn inline 6 is a gas hog.
Then Gm had the bright idea to pit 4.10 gears in a 395 hp suv.
Its a ls2 v8.
@@allencharles14 I know what the engine is called. I refuse to say the name.
Maybe it's yours. My incline 6 is a huge gas saver. My impala however was bad on gas
@@MultiMilTown The inline 6 was rated 19 mpg on the hwy. Huge gas saver?
@nashmalkin1371 How does it feel to be a white amerikkkan but can only talk smack online?
Toneybrunson
The price of the car is too high.
This video is from almost 3 years ago
I know, friend , are you still working in cars?
Just pop the hood already
one word... *OUTDATED*
@nashmalkin1371 I’ve thought about changing it, thanks! 😂💀
