You nailed it!!!! What's even more impressive, is the fact that is a hell of a lot harder to play a part note for note than it is to just know the changes and throw in solos at the right time. Like Ian Paice said - what they got on record was 1 take or maybe a couple takes spliced together. They never played the song the same way twice. But once the albums hit the stores, then the versions on the record became set in stone as far as the fans were concerned. So anyone that can get Ritchie Blackmore down to the nth degree like this gentleman, all I can say is "well done!" I hope your immense talent is recognized wherever you play, and that your efforts are being well rewarded.

Ritchie had never and will never and can never play his beautiful solos the same way note for note. which he had admitted decades ago. I think if Ritchie is watching this guy's playing, his jaw is on the floor.
I am really curious how long it takes you to pick up the covers you do. I don't mean just the notes, but the style, the tone, are all so damn close to the originals its scary. I can't imagine it takes less than weeks and weeks of working on each tune, studying all the nuances, constantly, again and again til it finally becomes second nature. Or maybe you get it all on just a couple of takes, which would be nothing short of incredible. Even then, it still takes a very, very special skill to do what you do. I have yet to hear anyone out here that even comes close.
not very far from the original...actually.... damn' dude! you nailed it completely.... in one take...! maximum respect! looking at how this song using all the space of a guitar's neck is impressive. Ritchie created a riff here, which, evened on it's basic parts, is genius stuff. forget about the technic for a second.... but these is harmonics on highes level. you mr satsuma3042 got the vibe.... i'd say.
You're still the best on "tube" Satsuma...and you love the same guitar players I do...Schenker, Blackmore, Malmsteen, Van Halen, etc. Keep posting videos!
