I personally like Virginia Hills. Right across from the Home Depot and next to Walmart. Mckinney in Prosper ISD can't be beat! Great neighbors and well kept homes.
Got lucky by chance I bought a house in McKinney in July 2021 in that odd pocket west of Custer Road that is still McKinney. Good houses but clearly not the super high end houses all around them. So lucky, my car broke down and I couldn't drive up there for a second time and my Realtor called me and I just said make the offer. I probably would have overthought it otherwise! I love West McKinney and where I live. With that said I wish I was in one of the high end homes but happy to be living in jokingly "poor neighborhood" all things considered.
Isn't west of Custer getting towards Celina area? If you bought in July 2021, I'm sure your house probably gained at least 15-20% in appreciation by now.
@@Nessal83 Just up the road is Prosper. If you were to look at a map I am in this odd cutout of McKinney on the west of Custer where everything else is Frisco. Its overall a good place, prices have gone up. Most of the houses being built in this area are way above the value of mine. But it is not the gated and super high end homes a stones throw away from here. Happy with my house but driving around here will give you affluenza!!!
@@brianc9036 I'm near the Bailor hospital on University. I get it about the affluenza. Our place is 3100sqft and it's considered big by CA standard but it's actually just average in TX. Those houses around Mustang Estates get me envious when I drive down that County Road.
@@Nessal83 Nice that is a really good area. I am in a 1,500 sqft house but am a single person so it works. Lived in Addison for a year and half before moving up here. Easily my favorite page for realtors in Dallas. You have a ton of subscribers and it seems like a lot of emails. How can I be sure you have the time and energy to give each client the help they need in finding the home for them?
Great question, Keiyon! It's because we have a great team. If you call the number in the description, I will answer the call. I am very involved with every client. We just helped 3 families last week that fired their current real estate agents. We found them their dream home within a few days and won the house for each of them.

We live in the Sierra Foothills in Northern CA. Our neighbors are moving to McKinney because of wildfire concerns and CA politics etc. After watching this video I don't get it. Flat open country with no large heritage trees, house right next to house and HOA's to top it off. Property taxes through the roof 2.1%, 8.25% sales tax, but no state income tax (for us that would save a whopping $1400 a year. Not only is the flat open land extremely unattractive but when the numbers are crunched including home insurance and income tax it makes no sense to us. We are in some of the most beautiful country in the world right here in the Sierra Mountains and on 10 acres. Then there is the elephant in the room, sure no wild fire threat but what about tornados, a climate that sucks in July and August, Insects as big as birds and at least 3 deadly snakes. I do not understand why they are moving to the LA of Texas?
@@LIVINGINDALLAS Thanks, that is why I cannot understand why our neighbors would do this, I suspect it is a decision based on emotion? I don't like CA's politics either but you need to consider exactly how that affects your daily life.
