I have the RSP02T in gold crisp , and what a beautiful and powerful guitar it is! in every single aspect a guitar can be! I do not regret paying the xtra for the Japanese model, the craftsmanship is second to none, and I just can get over it. I stop playing the Gibsons and fenders for my Revstar.
Preach! I have the exact same thing. The Japanese craftsmanship is sublime. Setup and fretwork is immaculate. It spoils you though, none of your other guitars feel as good after haha
I have one as well, I got the humbucker model a while back and now I have have a standard p90 as well, it’s definitely a 2000$ guitar and just kills my comparable priced fender and Gibson, but so does my standard. No regrets but I feel like I could’ve had two standards and 1000+ dollars.
They sell out quick. I own this one in black the humbucker version in white. Yamaha also makes Line 6 products. I also own the new Pacifica Standard Plus. It’s awesome too.
I have this original 502T. IMO it's better than the Gen 2, with the silly switching system. I sanded the back of the neck down to bare wood and it's now one of the best playing and feeling guitars in my collection. I play it more than my 3K custom made Oswald Strat.
it still surprises me every time i pick it up…punches way above its weight. i normally hate glossy necks but this one doesn’t bother me too much…sanding it down is tempting however…
@@RegularGuitars716 I tried just taking the gloss off but it didn't really work, as it's so thick. After a few goes at it the wood got exposed and I decided to take it all off. It was a mission but the result looks awesome and the neck is now super smooth. No wood sealant needed either as the mahogany was sealed before the paint. I also aggressively rolled the fingerboard and crowned the frets. I can send you some pics if you like...
