Every time I see him live, like this interview, I realize that this man is an under appreciated, national treasure. His is a real talent unlike so much garbage recoded these days.

It's always amazing to hear the amount of sound that comes out of Chris Smither's guitar while he looks so relaxed, and his hands seem to be barely moving. He makes it look so easy. There is no one else like him!
