Thanks for creating a good video tutorial for connecting MySQL Remote Server with IP address. Based on my use case, I think the only downside of this approach is to grant All Privileges to the user and it means that the client will have full access and privileges on the database using MySQL workbench if the client user have the password. Perhaps the workaround is do not 'set “Save Password in Vault” in MySQL workbench. I wonder whether it will still work.

like wise how u will get data from mysql which is placed in remote server , to power bi .how do i get data from sql server which is placed in australia to power bi desktop which placed in home like work from home job
Using ip or server/ host name where I have installed SQL server. In power bi use SQL server connection. Make sure ur aus machine is secured and available for access over net. U might need to configure SQL server port 1433. This very common scenario just try it will work.

It’s totally depends on the data volume and it’s frequency. Ideally 16 GB is recommended RAM.
