    Agree about acting as consultant, I did it in the past and worked for me, also took the pressure away and I felt very relaxed and confident!

    Wonderful suggestions as always, Don. Looking for patterns in the job description was a neat tip.
    Edit: I also completely agree with treating the job interview as more of an interactive discussion or dialogue. It reduces stress on your part, puts you in an equitable position of exchange, and focuses attention on the issue(s) needing to be worked through instead of on yourself.

    Now I got a job and in 2 weeks will pass the probationary period. How can I still make sure to be an indispensable? Of course I am learning the everyday tasks, I can improve at Excel and not sure what other skills. I work in business and retail/e-commerce.
