Glacier Hike in Iceland with Icelandic Mountain Guides

Along the south coast of Iceland there are so many gorgeous things to see and do. The beauty of Reynisfjara's black sand beach is mesmerizing, the partially frozen Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls are awe-inspiring and the vast glaciers there make you feel like a tiny speck on the earth (in a good way). After stopping off at the beach and waterfalls, I headed over to Sólheimajökull glacier to go on an epic glacier hike with Icelandic Mountain Guides. Josh was our guide for the day and, we had so much fun exploring the crevasses and learning about volcanic eruptions. The ice was so blue, which is typical of what the glacier looks like in winter. The glacier lagoon was frozen over too, which created a stunning landscape that enchanted all of us.

Wow this is beautiful! I think they have different options for hikes (blue ice, caves, etc), which one did you do? I'm trying to pick one but not sure which 😅
