can someone explain me why olympionic shooters have to dress like idiots with those leather jacket? they looks like the tin man from "the wizard of Oz" and sincereley I will never understand how these jackets can affect precision and stability while shooting! there's a great bunch of shooters that can perform perfectly simply with their t-shirt on...
There are pads mounted on the suit that keep the gun from moving/sliding on specific places. Also if you shoot with right hand, your left hand will be supported in prone and laying position using a belt that is mounted on the left arm and back part of the suit.

Try the Olympic disciplines and then think again.
