Holidayed there 55 years ago when there was 1 maybe 2 van parks right on the main road ( track ! ) and you could walk 50 meters to the river and catch kilo bream until the cows came home ! Only just over an hour away from me now at Gero I fish there often and get my surf hit ( watching now sadly ) at Jakes ! Survived 120kph winds during a storm while vanning it there ( before settling in Gero ) in 2018 . Great spot for the adventurous or recliners ! Town needs support after the direct hit from the cyclone. Love it !😎👍
Such a beautiful episode 🥰, I felt so happy and chilled watching. I love the info you give us about each destination, and Liz I love that you notice every tiny little detail (that most would just walk past unnoticed) xxx see you next week.
My husband and I were there in 2021, 2019 and in 2014. unfortunately the cafe at The Skywalk was closed in 2021 and we went there in 2014 with my NEW car and the road in was all sand but at least we made it in. Had to go back in 2021 as the Skywalk was not open yet in 2019. Absolutely loved it there and can hardly wait to get our new caravan to possibly go there again!!!
We were there quite a few years back now, no skywalk and the window was closed to visitors, that aside Kalbarri was a very nice town and we enjoyed our stay there.
So sorry that you did not get crayfish. Hopefully soon. Did the drone get badly damaged in the crash? I loved the wild flowers etc. actually I loved the lot!
Thanks for showing the awesome ( that word again) wildflowers. Liz great comeback with the shellfish pun! 🤣🤣
🤣🤣 Thanks Cheryl
The further you head south the prettier they get and way down south more exotic ❤❤❤
Love the WA wildflowers!
That wind! Great footage.
Thanks 👍
Have just started watching your channel. Congrats on an excellent, no nonsense presentation.
Cheers Steve and welcome!
Love the bloopers. Great video guys
Cheers, Gary

Thanks for sharing. Simon was last there in 2005! We agree, we'd love to go back one day.
Awesome. Looked sooo hot, you are legends to get out there. Great adventure and scenery.
Thanks 👍 It was pretty warm!
What a beautiful place, great vid and thanks for sharing.

👏🏻 Simon you may or may not need a good piece of old no8 fencing wire with a 90 bend 🤫 some states allow some don’t
Save travels
Yeah, thanks mate. I think I've given up on Crayfishing for a while 😂
We’ve been through that area first time in 1997 was so great then no skywalk saw the board walk at Hamlins Pools spent time in Karageni also
It would be quite different now!

Thanks for sharing. Simon first went in 2005 and doesn't remember Skywalk which probably explains why!

Thanks Pam. It's a beautiful area. The drone lives!
Great episode guys 👩🌾👨🌾🦋🧍🏼♂️🧍🐬🇦🇺
There is a UA-cam episode on the making of that skywalk, and just awesome footage from the drone.
Thanks, Paul.
