if you plan to visit Crete for fossil hunting ,i have some great locations for fossils to recomment ,and you could visit an amateour's ( a Belgian one who leaves hear ,in Matala ) museum of fossils of the area .Just let me know to send you the info .Have fan and find some great fossils !!
Hi Em I live in California and watch you with my 9 year old granddaughter we love everything you show us about fossils I had to come to Wales and while I’m here I came to Lyme Regis to look at the fossils on the beach Well I found what I believe is pyrite it’s about the size of a mans fist and probably weighs about 4 pounds it appears to have lots of small ammonites but two protruding gold rings which I think is fool’s gold My question is can I send you a picture of it and can you please tell me how I can clean it up without damaging it Thank you in advance Jean

Whatever you do DO NOT a a drink then go out on that balcony, stick a chair out there and only sit, highly dangerous and highly illegal! Just grabbed some beautiful little ammonites at Lyme Regis a couple of days ago, are there any in Greece though????
