Hello! This is my first visit to your channel and love this project! I’ve just started watching Margreth at SevenPlaza and she spoke so kindly of you and your makes and I can see why. I will certainly be watching many more of your videos..thank you!
A very warm welcome to my channel Belinda! Such a lovely message. Margareth is such a lovely person. Bless her! Thank you so much for that amazing compliment and feedback! May you enjoy the other Exciting Envelope projects. 🌸☺️🌷💗
I truly enjoyed your video, Angela......although I wasn’t in the toilet..... I was in my craft room hiding from my hubby while cross stitching. LOL I love how you did that envelope. Great idea making your own template. I used to make my own years ago before my cutting machines. And I love the little shabby chic paper clips. Adorable. Thanks so much for sharing and for the giggles. Hugs, Sharron 💗🌸🤗😂
So thrilled you enjoyed it Sharron!! I used to find the toilet was the only place to get any peace when my children were younger. 😂 thank you for watching! Hugs 🤗🌸🦋💗
With the left over threads and strings, I take small pearls and glue the threads to a piece of paper in the shape of a nest and put the pearls in there as the eggs. Really cute.
Wow, How did i miss this lovely envelope project? I love all your creations Angela, i truly do. I am excited to play with this while i have a visit with my son for a few weeks away from my art room *the horror!* i needed something simple to play with there. thank you!!!!!! Maria :)
Thank you so much Maria! I hope you have lots of fun playing around with this idea. The first in a further 84 envelope projects I put together. Haha. Gosh, you are brave being away from your craft room for a few weeks! I bet you go to the shops and buy a few craft things while you are there, HAHA! Hugs xx
Angela, I was just thinking about emailing you and asking for advice. My sister and I have been going through our mom and dad’s 50th wedding anniversary pictures, letters and cards. And photos of their cruise of the Hawaiian islands and keepsakes cards. How was I going to make a keepsakes for all of these things. I know you are on your trip to the retreat so I thought I would check out your envelopes ✉️ videos. What inspiration it has brought me to see them! I can definitely use this! Thank you so much for having a playlist for me to go through!❤ You are very talented, inspiring and a wonderful friend!❤
Finally able to walk again and get back into my craft room. My crafting mojo isn't where it should be so I decided to tackle all 22 envelopes and see where that leads me. Thanks for the inspiration. Now on to #2 LOL
I am so happy to hear you are able to walk now Lynn! Take it easy now. Sometimes little projects gets the mojo flowing again. Have fun and thank you so much for your lovely comment! Hugs and smiles lovely! 🌸🤗💗🦋
Yes, my kind of lady! Go Cindy! Unfortunately today, I am taking the plunge and trying to rid chocolate from my life! Need to loose some Lockdown pounds! Wish me luck! Enjoy watching the envelope tutorials lovely! Thank you so much too! 🤗🌸💗🦋
LOL Cindy, Angela is a punctuation stickler and I am a grammar stickler. You ordered some chocolate from Amazon. Off is not grammatically accurate. Hope you don't take offense. Not intended that way at all. 🤗
I had a laugh with you about ordering chocolate from Amazon. I don’t know if you gave in to the urge but I certainly did!! Love this envelope idea. Tfs ♥️ Hugs from Karen in Canada. PS I purchased some of your freebies from your website. Love the digital papers and the templates I purchased for just a few dollars. Thank you so much! 💞
Karen, I actually did give in and ordered a case of chocolate!! It kept me going for a while!! So pleased you lived this envelope!! It’s one I want to make again sometime. Thank you so much! Sending hugs to you in Canada! 🤗🌷🌸💗
Hi Angela, this is so lovely. I love all your work and have been watching your videos all day long :) I wish I could create projects as perfect as yours. You are so gifted and talented...thanks for sharing your work. Looking forward to your next upload.
Oh WOW Nelda! What wonderful compliments! I am so touched by your kind words. Thrilled that you are enjoying my videos too. I hope it is inspiring you and keeping you busy! Hugs and smiles 🤗🌸🦋💗
What a great and beautiful idea ! Thinking about the bathroom, I was thinking that beginning third week of quarantine, I’d better lock up my three kids and my husband in there and enjoy my home :D
Now that is a great idea Elise!! I can understand that. I hope you are finding time to craft and relax a little at least. Thank you so much for watching lovely! Hugs and smiles, 🤗🌸🦋💗
Angela Kerr Jumped in Artist in bloom journal class and I’m having fun with that ! It’s hard time to get focused on anything, jumping from 6th grade, to 10th grade, to student support (letters and political studies as I am a scientist :))), trying to be not too noisy because my husband is working from home. By the way I went back to your tea dying tutorial, like the color much more than coffee dying !
Hi Angela, I discovered your channel after doing a junk journal search. I've made a lot of mini books and junk journals but not for a couple of years. Life gets in the way, y'know? Anyhow, I love your style and your pleasant way of speaking. You are a good teacher. I enjoyed the first video I watched (can't remember which one it was) so I decided to start with Envelope #1 and work my way through. I've watched most of them but I haven't commented on any so I thought I'd come back and do that.
A very warm welcome Sylvia!! Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel. I am thrilled you have enjoyed my envelope series and so appreciate you watching them all. What wonderful compliments. So grateful! Hugs and smiles 🌸🤗💗🦋🌷
Stacy, the messy way is the new black! 😋 nothing wrong with that. So glad you are enjoying these. Have lots of fun trying them too! Hugs and smiles 🌸💗🤗🦋🌷
Hello dear Lyn! I am doing very well, thank you so much for your lovely comment. Hope you are doing well too, Thank you so much for your love and kindness, dear lady. So grateful for it. Hugs and smiles 🌸🦋💗🤗🌷
Thank you so much Melanie! I am so glad you have enjoyed this. This is the first of many envelope projects. You might say, I am addicted. Enjoy them. Hugs and smiles! 🌸💗🌷🦋🤗
When I was little, and went to the bathroom, I used to turn ornaments and products back to front... For example, my mum had one of those toilet roll hiding dolls with the crochet stretch dress on, (😲) so I'd turn her around, and cans of hairspray etc with the pictures of the hair model on, so nobody could watch me! Now I have no toilet roll hiding dollies, no surprise there!, but instead it seems I have an Angela hiding somewhere in my bathroom! Where are you? You know you'll put me off if you're spying on me! 😂😂😂 Beautiful envelopes, beautiful little fold out folder inside, all so pretty and soft and feminine! Love them! Now if you wouldn't mind stepping behind the shower curtain thanks, and turn your back so I feel extra secure, I'd appreciate it! 😁😁😁
Tami, you have me 😂! Thank goodness, it is not a live video then!! Thank you so much for your kind words. You know how much I love the soft, feminine and pastel shades. I hope you give it a go too. I am sure it will look stunning!! Hugs and smiles lovely! 🤗🦋🌸💗😘
You’re such a joy to watch! Your soothing voice and great ideas takes us away from the crazy times we are living in! Stay safe and God Bless and thanks for sharing your many talents with us.
Sandy, you are so right. I am thrilled that you are able to find some solace in these videos. I craft for peace and tranquillity too. Thank you so much for your lovely compliments and for your kindness! Hugs, smiles and blessings to you too! 🤗💗🌷🌸
I am really loving the envelopes though i am watching the videos backwards playing catch up, Thank you for all the inspiration and company while im up late tatting. I cant wait to make some of these. :)
Hi Angela~such a lovely project to try thanks ~ this brightens up difficult days which we are experiencing the world over …I too are missing all our usual haunts however we must hope for better days ahead for us all 🎶
I am a new subscriber so I had to start back at the beginning to see these envelopes in the order you created them. So far I love every single one I've seen! You are brilliant! And I am addicted to your channel. Can't wait to watch #2...
Thank you ever so much for those amazing compliments Chelsea! I am just thrilled that you have enjoyed the envelope series! A very warm welcome to my channel too. Lovely to have you. I hope you find lots of inspiration here and enjoy trying some of these little projects too! Hugs and smiles 🤗🌸💗🦋😘
I'm late to the dance ... I just learned about your "Envelope Excitement" series, and just made my first envelope with you. Love it!!! Looking forward to No. 2! I'm going to have to work day and night to catch up!! LOL!! Thanks so much, Angela!!!
Hello Karen, I am so sorry, but for some reason my reply did not save. I wanted to say, that it is never to late, Lovely. I am so glad you are enjoying the process. I am sure you are kept very busy with all of these. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. I have enjoyed them all. Hugs and smiles, 🌸🤗💗🦋
Love, love, love this series of envelope projects!!! So fun and beautiful! I love your music, your detailed instructions and the whole way you go about your videos! I would just love it if you spoke a bit louder. Thanks again so much for what you do!!!!
Thank you so much Mary Ann for your great feedback. I will look into that when I am editing. So glad you have enjoyed this little project! Hugs and smiles 🌸💗🤗🦋🌷
@@AngelaKerrDesigns thank you for your kindness and generosity! Volume helps when listening to someone who speaks differently than what you are accustomed to. Plus, age does not make it any easier -LOL! I plan to go through and make every one of these envelope projects! I have a slew of them!
Ohhhhhhhh, I love this sooooo much. I knew it was going to beautiful but when you opened the tri-fold inside, I literally squeeked with joy. Hoping you have a future filled with good grammar and happy, healthy days. lol. #beautyfromrubbish
Oh you made me smile, Robin. LOL, yes I am optimistic about the future. Love your comment. I think you must be having an Angela fest there. So glad you are enjoying these. Hugs and smiles xoxo
A very warm welcome to you ! So amazing to hear you have subscribed too! I hope you find lots of inspiration and have lots of fun creating some of these projects too , lively! Hugs and smiles 🌸😁🤗💗🦋
Soooo pretty and such a neat idea, Angela. You’ve done it again! I’m going to be making these tomorrow instead of doing what I should...lol. I’ll send you emergency supplies of chocolate. Sure M won’t miss it from her stash because, obviously I don’t eat it.....much. C.xx
I wish I didn’t like chocolate, but it cheaper than Prozac! 😂 so glad you liked this little project Carol! Yours will look absolutely stunning!! Hugs 🤗🌸🦋💗
Such a sweet envelope, it's funny just this morning I cut an acetate window portion from a macaroni box. try and make a template from that. Thank you for all your tutorials. LOL about the toilet!
This is so beautiful!! I happened to have an unopened package of these seed envelopes, so I made my template from a file folder. I love all of @antiquepaperie lovely digitals. I started my envelope today and got about half way through. Will finish tomorrow. You have so many creative ideas and I get so excited when I see one of your videos up. Thank you for being so generous with your time and talent! Hugs, stay well, Cindy
I've got the rest of the playlist already & waiting, I've also bought the templates (most helpful). I'm definitely in the order your chocolate from Amazon camp! Chocolate is a vegetable, after all it comes from a bean originally 😉🍫
Oh yes, we are definitely aligned on the chocolate Jane 😂 I did order from Amazon too!! So glad you are enjoying the Exciting Envelope series. I loved making those. Thank you so much for buying the templates you! Hugs and smiles 🌸🤗💗🦋
Hi Angela what a brilliant idea, very creative and inspiring thank you for sharing 💞 can I ask what printer do you have and what paper do you use to print onto! 😊 And yes yes yes order some choccy defo 🍫👍xx
Thank you so much Kay. I just use standard paper, but 160 g thickness, which is double the standard copier paper thickness and I have an inkjet printer HP Envy.🤗🌸🦋💗
Hi Angela, this is the first tutorial of yours that I’ve watched. Loved your style. Can I ask where I could get the tiny flowers you used on top of the large tag on top of the lace. They’re so cute. Many thanks. ☺️
Welcome to my channel Toni! Lovely to have you. So glad you are enjoying the videos. I hope you find some inspiration here. The small flowers are from Hobby Lobby. It is a roll of decorative trim that I was gifted, as I am in the UK and no where near a Hobby Lobby unfortunately. I hope that helps you. Hopefully you are in the US. Hugs and smiles lovely 🤗💗🌸🦋
I've just started watching the Exciting Envelope series. Thank you Sevenplaza's sweet Margreth for suggesting this series. Could I just stitch the cut out section before I put on the acetate or does it not stick well to the thread? It may be bulky though. I sew but never acetate. I was just wondering.
I've fallen in love with these little envelopes. Could you give me the measurements of the envelope you've used as I've never seen them before. Just the measurements of the front will do. Thanks
Every time I see a tutorial by yourself on my feed I have to stop what I’m doing to watch! Think I’m becoming a groupie🤣I love this little folder and the papers you’ve used. You talk about losing things or running out of things you love so you’ll understand my total devastation! I can’t find my Edith Holden cutting up book😳😭😢😳. I’ve looked everywhere in my craft room just everywhere. I do have another which is a pristine, as new book that my granddaughters bought me for Christmas. I’m very tempted✂️✂️✂️😀
Jean, you are most definitely a groupie!! Bless you. I am thrilled you enjoyed the little folder. Losing your Edith Holden Book is a terrible item to mislay, I feel for you there. Don't cut up the pristine one lovely. The minute you do that, the other one will appear. It's Murphy's law! 🤗🌸💗🦋🥰
Another awesome element to add to our journals. Love it Angela! Thanks for your continued inspiration......now where did I put those envelopes?:-) Hugs
thank you so much Gina! You are a treasure! Those envelopes are awesome, but in scarce supply this end of the pond, so I had to improvise! 😂 We seem to to have to improvise in every way right now. At least it brings out the creativity in all of us. Hugs and smiles 🤗🦋🌸💗🌷
Angela, I am a new subscriber as well as new to junk journals. Inking isn't something I am crazy about but the color you are using is so light. Could you please share the brand and color of what you are using? Thank you
A very warm welcome to my channel Kathleen! I use Tim Holtz's Distress ink in Antique Linen mostly. It is a very light colour and perfect for the pale colours I like to use. I hope that is helpful. If you have any other questions, please just ask or email me. Hugs and smiles 🤗🌸🦋🌷
I found you channel and i loved your works ❤️. Can you tell me what kind of paper you are using for printing digital collections? They look very high definition 🤗
Thank you so much for your kind comments Sol. I use standard paper, just a little thicker than copier paper. 120 or 160 g per sheet, which is almost double the standard thickness. I have a very good camera. 😉 So glad you are enjoying these videos lovely. Hugs and smiles xoxo
I started watching your envelope series at the other end and decided I would now start at the beginning. I absolutely love your style. It is stunningly stunning, just my style! Oh my goodness, I want to do all of them and buy all the papers. What brand is your yellow and black craft knife? Also where did you get the lovely script paper? Take care and stay safe💓🇦🇺
I am thrilled that you have enjoyed this series Elizabeth. Thank you so much for your lovely compliments. To help you with your queries; The craft knife is a Stanley craft knife. I bought it from the hardware store in a five pack. Much cheaper than an actual "craft knife". It works a charm. The script paper is from Amity Bloom and is called French wallpaper ephemera kit. She is also on Etsy. I hope that helps lovely. Hugs and smiles xoxo
In regards to the acetate slipping in the sewing machine, might one tack or glue some tissue paper just beyond the line of acetate, then once it is sewn, merely tear away the tissue paper? I have no idea if that will assist, but it may be worth an attempt. Or two! Are the flowers on the card in each of the pockets made using a stamp and die set? If so, what are they please?
Dear sweet Angela! I need help please! I went to the Antique Paperie shop at Etsy and I cannot find the Ella papers kit. I looked a couple of times because I know that I can make mistakes but I am stumped! Wondering if you can help? Thank you!💕( Could it be her Vintage Paradise kit?
Dearest Donna, The Antique Paperie shop closed down a while back and reopened with new kits. She doesn't keep any of her old stuff anymore. So sorry there. Hugs xxoo
Thank you for your comment. I don't Martha. I show you how I created my own template and how you can easily do it yourself in the video. You can use any envelope size that you might as as a base for the template. I hope that helps. 🦋🤗🌸💗

@@AngelaKerrDesigns thank you for your kindness and generosity! Volume helps when listening to someone who speaks differently than what you are accustomed to. Plus, age does not make it any easier -LOL! I plan to go through and make every one of these envelope projects! I have a slew of them!

Such a sweet envelope, it's funny just this morning I cut an acetate window portion from a macaroni box. try and make a template from that. Thank you for all your tutorials. LOL about the toilet!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! We live in strange times, lol. We have to do what we have to do. So glad you enjoyed it! 😂🌸🦋💗

P.S. The Amity Bloom Happy pages and Vintage pages are also challenging.🙃
Oh yes, that they are. Haha. So pleased you watched this one Donna. It is a favourite project to make. Sending hugs, xxoo
LOL A Hamster

So glad you like it Brigitta! Thank you so much for watching! Hugs 🤗🌸🦋💗
Beautiful Angela, what a great idea, do you mind if I have a go at this x
Of you you may! Enjoy it! Thank you so much for watching! 🤗🌸🦋💗
Lovely idea, Thank you so much 💖💖 just a thought you could stitch around the window first before placing the acetate 😊
Yes you could Jean! You are right there! Glad you liked it! Hugs 🤗🌸🦋💗
Angela Kerr thank you. I’m in the UK too. Wish we had Hobby Lobby.
Oh yes, can you imagine. I would need a house extension! 😂 oh and a second mortgage! 🤗🌸💗
Angela Kerr I’ve sent you a personal message regarding this trim. It might be in your spam. ☺️
Thank you so much Kim. You can stitch around acetate. I suppose it depends on how thick the acetate is really. Give it a go. Hugs xx
I've fallen in love with these little envelopes. Could you give me the measurements of the envelope you've used as I've never seen them before. Just the measurements of the front will do. Thanks
Lynda, the measurements are 4.5 inches by 6 inches. I hope that helps lovely! So glad you like them 🌸🤗💗🦋
Every time I see a tutorial by yourself on my feed I have to stop what I’m doing to watch!
Thank you Angela. Amazon here I come and hopefully they have that color. Have a beautiful day!
Kathleen Elmer I am sure they will lovely. It is a common one. Hugs 🌸🌼💗
@@AngelaKerrDesigns thanks! ❤️
A great idea! Pam! Sounds like a plan. Will have to try it. Thank you so much 🌸🤗💗🦋
@@AngelaKerrDesigns In regards to the flowers, were they stamp and die set, chipboard bits, or something else Please?
The flowers are made using a Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildfliwer die set. I do use it a lot. Hugs and smiles 🤗🌸💗🦋
Hugs xxoo
Do you have an template off that envelope that we can print off please?
Thank you for your comment. I don't Martha. I show you how I created my own template and how you can easily do it yourself in the video. You can use any envelope size that you might as as a base for the template. I hope that helps. 🦋🤗🌸💗
What paper are you using?
I use standard paper Lois. Just a little thicker than copier paper. 😊🌷🌸
Wish you had provided measurements to begin with!
So sorry Deb. I used the templates for this one. 🌸☺️🦋
