Boostio was reading their setups like a book on Haven and the amount of times Zekken was cornered from multiple sides due to his poor positioning is baffling. Overall sen need to stop making excuses and actually work to fix their issues if they want to stand a chance. In their current form they will be eliminated in the group stage even if they somehow make champs.

I don’t think a team who peaks early, when teams are still figuring things out should “automatically” qualify. Especially when they proceed to perform mid, not qualify for the next masters and then get eliminated early into playoffs. If you have to do mental gymnastics to figure out a path to qualify, chances are you shouldn’t be there.
I am not saying they should automatically qualify, but if the ‘peak’ of a team is winning masters, i think the argument carries more weight, than teams who ‘figure it out’ by not winning anything during the first two masters events, basically the majority of the season. tbh, asia pacific vs the americas generally have different work ethics. in areas like korea, japan and china, its all about the cruntch. americas on the otherhand have nowhere near the level of cruntch (lazier) and feel the need for more practice.
Sacy's pet literally died a few days ago 3 hours before the G2 match. They arent making excuses but that one right there is a huge mental factor to one of their players. However, SEN have generally not looked as good as they have before either way they still were going to lose that match in my opinion.
I feel like zekken should definitely try and play another duelist. His raze is likely one of the best but his Jett is very lack luster compared to the likes of cryo and aspas. I don’t even remember the last time he got a Jett knife kill tbh. Rn in the meta neon and iso are absolutely broken and idk why sen aren’t absolutely abusing it. Sure, Jett is the best duelist for ascent, but zekken is not that great of a Jett compared to other top level pros. And the JohnQT deadlock should just be thrown away.
I seriously would like to see them play raze on every map there isn’t a map other than maybe abyss that you can’t make it work we saw in the chamber meta raze on almost every map tenz is a great op and he’s opped on non duelist roles it would also help them feeding into the deadlock on some
The thing about 100T though is that they always need that 1 guy poppin off, that's why they are very inconsistent, if "That guy" isn't there they seem to lose. I love 100t though I just wish the team are really consistent as a team and as a whole. I also feel like they should just keep Cryo on duelist more.

100T, lev and Sen have 12 points each. Since there’s a tie it’s broken by h2h. Since there’s 3 teams they basically make a table of the regular season games between the 3 teams. Lev beat both Sen and 100t in the regular season so they’re first and would go on points if they failed to qualify. Otherwise it’s Sen because they’re 1-1 in the regular season, 100T are 0-2

Doing points for everything would mean it’s impossible for teams to make any sort of comeback. You get 1 point for every regular season win, 1 point for every playoff win, 3 points for winning kickoff/split 1, and 3 points for winning Masters. Going into the playoffs Sen did not have the most points, they were tied on 12 with Lev but were below them because their h2h verses Lev is worse. Points only matter for the 4th spot at champs, for all 3 spots at masters Shanghai and for 3 of the spots at champs, the top 6 teams play in the playoffs to determine who the best 3 teams are. By doing playoff qualification by record it’s a totally fair contest of just simple win-loss. Personally I don’t think the records should have been combined but it’s still better than points. If it was done on points then 100T and Sen would be higher seeds than G2 despite being obviously worse at the moment. If you do your idea of having the top 2 go through on regular season record and then the next 2 decided by points (while also doing a playoff bracket to allow extra points to be added) you could very easily end up in a situation where 6 of the teams have literally nothing to play for because they know they can’t catch Lev, Sen and 100T on points no matter what.

The thing about 100T though is that they always need that 1 guy poppin off, that's why they are very inconsistent, if "That guy" isn't there they seem to lose. I like that riot is willing to try new things with the formats but i think we can all agree this year didnt work, like the format might logically work but i dont think anyone has felt it lead to an exiting group stage more frustrating that im having to add up points instead of just looking at a bracket, and as a pacific fans its frustrating that rrq clearly the 4th best pacific team isnt going to champs juat because talon was in a group with less people than them, like this format screwed an rrq with a better record than T1 from going to Shanghai and now talon after they both has roater changes and neither of them got to play each other, they both lost all there matches in play offs but talon was in the easier group so they get to go over rrq who has beated more impressive teams all season

100T, lev and Sen have 12 points each. Since there’s a tie it’s broken by h2h. Since there’s 3 teams they basically make a table of the regular season games between the 3 teams. Lev beat both Sen and 100t in the regular season so they’re first and would go on points if they failed to qualify. Otherwise it’s Sen because they’re 1-1 in the regular season, 100T are 0-2

i feel like going for points since the start is better, you know? The top 2 of the regular season get a direct quali to the vct or whatever, then the 3rd to the 8th get to play the playoffs but in a points system too then the remaining 2 qualify. Makes more sense to me

Doing points for everything would mean it’s impossible for teams to make any sort of comeback. You get 1 point for every regular season win, 1 point for every playoff win, 3 points for winning kickoff/split 1, and 3 points for winning Masters. Going into the playoffs Sen did not have the most points, they were tied on 12 with Lev but were below them because their h2h verses Lev is worse. Points only matter for the 4th spot at champs, for all 3 spots at masters Shanghai and for 3 of the spots at champs, the top 6 teams play in the playoffs to determine who the best 3 teams are. By doing playoff qualification by record it’s a totally fair contest of just simple win-loss. Personally I don’t think the records should have been combined but it’s still better than points. If it was done on points then 100T and Sen would be higher seeds than G2 despite being obviously worse at the moment. If you do your idea of having the top 2 go through on regular season record and then the next 2 decided by points (while also doing a playoff bracket to allow extra points to be added) you could very easily end up in a situation where 6 of the teams have literally nothing to play for because they know they can’t catch Lev, Sen and 100T on points no matter what.
