Seems more like 70 - 80% of people are extroverted. It is hell being introverted in a world dominated by people who are in constant need of other people's attention and validation. That right there must be mentally and physically draining, always gotta be seen and heard, laffing at lame jokes that don't come close to being funny. I've managed to embrace being introverted. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.
It does seem that way. I know a lot of introverts that you would never know are introverts. They live seemingly normal lives because they can do extroverted things. That doesn't mean they like them but they do, sometimes they have to. We all fall on a spectrum. Some introverts at the extreme end can't do extroverted things and deal with other problems like social anxiety. Others are towards the middle and can do extroverted things but still get their energy from being alone. The same goes with extroverts. There are extroverts who can spend hours and hours in small groups talking to people but when it comes to being on stage in front of a crowd - they panic. It really just depends.
I just want to be funny and talk with my friends but they dont hangout with me but they always hangout with eachother im just like a backup backup friend i just want to be cool with them. Ive known them for like years why am i so boring bruh , am i just supposed to be an outcast i dont want to be an outcast
Yes. People trying to change you have a problem not you. I can't force someone to enjoy certain food or like a certain colour or have the same sense of humour. You can't make someone like the same things , that is what introversion is a core aspect of a lifestyle preference.
It is hard to believe. There are a lot of introverts who can/have to do extroverted things. Most of us really fall on a spectrum and some of us are at the more extreme end. Some of us introverts also deal with social anxiety so that is a huge factor too.
I literally feel like everyone hates me and finds me so annoying because of this. Like if you dont engage in small talk when expected for example , people resent you, might insult you , talk about how they didnt like you anyways. Like extroversion is the only way for me to get along with people 😢
@@choilpisellogrosso3848 We're great listeners, which often makes us better/eloquent speakers. We typically tend to be more creative, which always has its perks. We're good at reading people. There's so many things.
@@BridgetHallisey i mean i don't get how extroverts don't have these characteristics, i for exemple am not a good listener cause i'm never focused thus always asking who's talking to repeat what they just said. that's just an example but i feel like i resonate with almost nothing you mentioned, meanwhile i know many extroverst Who totally do. being extrovert doesn't mean being loud and superficial, it just means that it is easier for you to approach other people, to be generally more talkative (not al ways) and to recharge your batteries through socializing. other than that i feel like there are no differences directly connected to being extroverted or introverted, just that it can be very stressful to be the second one just my two cents
I hate being an introvert in the United States where introvertedness is treated like some sort of mental deficit. Makes me wanna move to Japan; maybe I'll fit in better there.
I was having a really bad day today and I stumbled across this video. I was totally in that mind set of “I hate being an introvert” “I hate myself” “I wish I could not care so much” etc. This video made me feel a lot less alone and I started watching some of your other videos. It really helped me a lot. It made me realize I needed a self care day and it completely helped me reset. Thank you so much for your advice in these videos!
The hardest thing I do as an introvert is getting people to understand how I react to social encounters. People invite me to events and I accept. The day of the event my anxiety takes over and I do not attend. I will stress over missing the event. Then there’s seeing the person that invited me and trying to explain why I did not attend. Usually I lie. Not many people understand introverts. Thanks for sharing your videos. There’s a lot here that I can incorporate into my view of being the way I am.
i hate being an introvert bc i have no social skills. its no fun not being able to speak in front of people, lack of communication skills, not being able to maintain friendships, cant make friends normally, cant connect with people, being afraid of going outside, scared of judgement and so much more. from what ive experienced theres nothing fun about not liking to socialize
youre not alone. everyone around me is so socially intelligent and im struggling a lot to even strike up a conversation. everyone keeps reminding me that im so awkward or i have to get more friends and im just tired. hope youre doing better in your journey
Being introverted is only difficult in North America, where there's a bias for extroversion. But being an introvert is preferred, and the norm in many European countries
Being introverted is great once you attain this level of self-actualization. I feel like getting older favors introverts naturally as people drift away anyways.
I’m the same way. The more I’m on this planet and in the work force I see that people especially extroverts tend to be extremely self centered and judgmental. I truly don’t care what anyone thinks however I know small talk is needed to keep a job or just being nice and interacting with foolish coworkers so they feel secure smh and don’t report you for no reason. I bet you love animals. Animals are genuine
I once was going to pretend i had covid to get out of going to a wedding party is how bad it gets for me ,i get to a party and focus on the clock and how quick i can get out of there, bored shitless but lately have discovered im an introvert at age 52 so now my life makes sense at last x
I Hate begin introvert bc just I overthing when I have conversetion to people, but if one of my friend is with me i wil commnuicate with people freely, but this year I got class with out my friend it was the worset year ever
People always say introverts need to talk more, nobody says extroverts need to shut up 🙄
That’s the realest comment I’ve seen in a long while! 💯🔥
It’s because the majority wins and we are the minority
They do in Europe
I don't hate being introverted but i do hate my social anxiety

I feel like an alien. It’s hard to believe 30-50% of people are introverted in day to day life.

It is hard, but sometimes you have to focus on the things that are great the introverted life... there are a lot

I only talk to my friends tbh and it’s hard to make new ones idk how I even got my friends
I hate being an introvert. I really, really needed this.
In public I'm very quiet, like literally; people don't hear me. I hate it. At home and with select friends I'm practically Jim Carrey.
LOL you described me perfectly Im so happy I'm not alone
I'm so glad people are finding this relatable!
I like being a intervert I just don't like being around extroverts because they talk so much
Is it strange that i hate being an extrovert?
Hi Bridget, if your an introvert...how can you talk so much in this video and your other videos?
