這些傳統技藝真的是我們這些成年人小時候的回憶，小時候也是很喜歡站在師傅攤位前面看著他畫糖、拉龍鬚糖、剉花生糖。❤

現在回想起來，這真的是一個需要美感和高超技術在限定時間內完成的藝術，但工錢卻不成比例。
WOW!!!~有些傳統技術都消失了.....不過有些還存在著!!!感人~希望未來.技術還能夠繼續存在著

Glad you met up with us in Qishan to indulge in these ridiculously delicious treats! It's like aa quadrupal threat what with the ice cream rolls, the Dragon's Beard candy, the sugar animals, and the assortment of nut bars _ EACH were amazing! I'm sure we'll be back again and again. @moose_peanut is AMAZING! Everyone go visit them soon!!

These candies remind of my childhood memory❤😊....we (the crowd of kids, 60 years ago) used to stand around the Candy Booth watching the work of candy arts trimmed with color of green or red.

我有去過耶！前年帶小孩去美濃懶人露營，兩天都在旗山吃午餐，當時坐在店門口凳子吃竹炭潤餅捲，還買花生糖回家吃😊

Oh my gosh I tried this in Fenqihu, only thing different was they put coriander/cilantro! ❤❤❤
This place has coriander also.... I told them to leave it off of mine and they made the same choice for everyone! This is the traditional recipe. Stop by to try for yourself!

Regardless of whether you end up liking and praising, "weird" Taiwanese food, is beside the point. The title of this video, if I was Taiwanese, I would be offended. It is blatant American hubris to call a native country's food as weird. Who are you to come to Taiwan and offend the people. What comes to mind is the moniker the Ugly American, ...
"Ugly American" is a stereotype depicting American citizens as exhibiting loud, arrogant, demeaning, thoughtless, ignorant, and ethnocentric behavior mainly abroad, but also at home." ... (Wikipedia)
Maybe you just wanted to put in a clickbait adjective in your title but that only reinforces the insensitivity to the culture. As an American of Asian descent, I'm embarrassed for you and a bit peeved in the process.
I'm Taiwanese and I don't feel offended.
@@mauriat0507 You're missing the point. Whether or not you are offended is not the point I'm making. It is also our asian culture to be accommodating and accepting. As an Asian-American I've become culturally sensitive to recognizing these things. Part of my career was a government discrimination investigator and I was trained to pick up on these things. You may not have been offended but am I off base base for being offended?

@@ColeFogle Blaming it on your wife along with your sarcasum and assuming I have a job (I'm comfortably retired) is more than enough to prove my point. At the very least to have some sensitivity that your title might be offensive even as a remote possibility should have been contemplated and given you pause, and after all this you haven't even shown a modicum of contritness. Carry on, the Ugly American is alive and well.
