Very competent Tabla player. Tabla brings the the music alive.
Bhupinder Chaggar appears to play soo effortlessly, yet the sounds that he produces.. Wow!
The players are so grounded ...physically literally ....even when they are playing the faster rhythms....they don't have to physically move to produce the most rhythmic beats
I really enjoyed this - wonderful to see - I recently listened to BBC Radio 3 Classical Indian Music evening from the Peepul Centre Leicester and wished I could have been there -
Roopa Panesar is truly AWESOME ! It's amazing to see and to listen to so much beauty in one person... Wow, what a wonder !
P.S.: As I see, bending strings was not invented by electric guitar players... It goes far, far back in the history of music !

This sitar concert by Roopa of Raag Bhiravi on sitar with her unique style makes me go into a state of trans with a deep sense of devotion, love and calmness. This happens every time I listen to Roopa. I am yet to come across any other player, who has played it with their heart and soul like Roopa. Thank you for sharing your love of devotion to sitar music. It is a great gift.

But why do you need to say something negative about other sitar players to express admiration for Roopa? This seems to be a sort of Indian disease. If R is good, R is good. NO need to say that S is not as good.

Raag Bhairavi and in particular when in light dhun is a sublime experience and it was more so played by Ms. Roopa Panesar. I was equally impressed by the audience on their matured ovation without interrupting the players before time.

Devi Sarasvati plays VEENA (Sarasvati Veena, also known as Raghunath Veena ), and not a sitar, just so you know.
Anil Razdan: Here the mention of Devi Saraswati, the goddess of fine arts, is in a figurative sense. It is immaterial what type of instrument she holds in the picture normally portrayed. Roopa is a fine artist, so she is thus compared.
