I had to come back here after listening to Anuv Jain's Mishri (sort of disappointing) and even though people think all indie artists are underrated, I think out of all, you're my favourite. Your music goes one step beyond in composition (I won't even comment on how comforting your voice is) and doesn't melt in the the larger idea of 'cool indie music' (the effect of indian classical music can be felt). Plus, your lyrics seem genuinely worked on, they're not about a generalised romantic story but explore a specific part of the whole experience of pursuing your love for someone, in that way, it's not reductive at all. You're an exceptional musician but I do believe that you can be more creative (show a story?) about your music videos (even though I understand that's not exactly the forte of a musician but the overall experience of a song is enhanced by the video, I think we all can agree). Trust me, this came out only because I've been trying to think what could the reason be behind your (less than what I wish) reach. I believe we need more people to go beyond and give actual criticism so indie music can flourish well. Okay going back to listening to your music on repeat.
