They should really re-balance the new Expired Medicine to have different odds, because currently it's just a mathematically *much* worse Cigarettes. It'd probably work well with a 3/4 chance of healing 2 and a 1/4 chance of dealing 1, to make it slightly stronger than cigarettes on average (averaging a heal of 1.25 health compared to cigarettes's guaranteed 1) or maybe 2/3 chance of heal 2 and 1/3 chance of deal 1, to make it equal to Cigarettes on averaging
Wild to think that you've been grinding the 1m score thing for awhile now (congrats on getting it, by the by) and you nearly had it on your first day of play
I’ve deadass watched this video 4 times already. Something about the game loop is scratching my little brain and I hope we get a video on the path to 1mil
Hey Spiff! Just wanted to let you know since I think it’s pretty neat that me and my friend used you in one of our high school presentations! We related your video on Solemn Tempest to perseverance, the part when you got ~100m of progress on 7 hours. ^^ He also “Spliffed” you
Truly reminds me of my own first ever run, where I literally didn't get shot once because of my insanely massive luck And then I realized that I used up all my luck for the next few years, as I wanted to get the bad ending next and simply could not get past the second phase for atleast a whole day
This is hilarious, amazing, astounding, but I have to say, not to downplay it, but the playthrough from another youtuber I watched that ended with the dealer chugging 3 beers and then shooting himself in the face for his final death still takes the cake for the funniest scene I have seen in this game
So, there are a few things I noticed while playing this game, and while I have a funny feeling that Spiff will probably ignore this entirely, I am leaving some tips for anyone who will read them. - The burner phone is based off of the rounds that are _already in the chamber,_ not the overall number of them. If you fire a shot, regardless of whether it is live, blank, at yourself, or at The Dealer, it will not be counted if you use the Burner Phone afterward. - I am absolutely not an expert on video game A.I. and that includes that of our good friend, The Dealer, but I have noticed that he tends to use the beer whenever possible, and is a lot more likely to do so if he does not have a magnifying glass. If I had to guess, his goal is to reduce the number of rounds so that it goes as low as possible. While this might increase in his favor, is might also work against him. He _is_ supposed to play fair, after all. - The Dealer will only use the expired pills if he has more than a single point of health left to spare, at least as far as I am aware, since all of this is what I have gathered from my own playthroughs of the game. If he only has one point of health left during a round, and he has a pack of cigarettes, he will use them before using the pills. The same applies if you, the player, have a pack that he is able to steal with a dose of adrenaline. - While this game does give you items as a way to even the odds a little, it is otherwise entirely dependent on RNG, in addition to what you do with the items that you are given, though this also depends on RNG. There is a level of skill involved, however, something that you should _always_ keep in mind while playing this game is the unfortunate fact that no matter how skilled you are at Buckshot Roulette, there is always a chance where you simply get... _unlucky._ I hope that this helps whoever may need it, and good luck to all of the High Rollers playing this game. Count your bullets, spend them wisely, and try not to get shot. *Edit:* I also want to mention that there is now a multiplayer mode for this game, so while you still retain the option to shoot The Dealer as usual, you now have the chance to shoot your friends, instead, in what is probably the deadliest party game to ever exist, though this is also from my own experience. I am sure that there are several other party games that are capable of destroying friendships in the blink of an eye, but this one is my favorite of all, because how many of them let you shoot someone with a twelve-gauge shotgun?
Dam, the two rounds being blank at the end is like having the dealer show an ace of spades at the river in Texas Hold'em, and your opponent getting a royal flush, tough break. 😞
