I read the comment without watching the video first. And i actually agree this C63 doesn't sound as visceral as others I've heard for some reason. If you watch the video on the carwow channel it sounds like an absolute beast.

I own an E92 M3 "Alpine Edition" just like this one in the video, absolutely love it, hope to keep it forever and mod the heck out of it, no supercharger though. Used to have an early W204 C63, loved it as well. I miss those seats. I'm also envious of the Lexus reliability and ease of maintenance haha. If I had to give up the M3 for another of these 4 cars, I'd go with the Audi. Love all 4 of them, great video.

When these came out in that time, everybody had a favorite one, dissing one and other, etc… I have a 2008 w204 C63, my dream car as a kid. But looking at these today and comparing them to their successors, just makes me wanna own all of them…
Interesting review. I found the isf definitely faster than the bmw m3 v8. The rs4 was significantly slower. I also looked at the slower rs5 v8 when comparing. Re styling if you removed the badges I wonder which car people would pick. Keep the vids up mate
@@KiwiCarLife The ISF drives 100-200 in 9.8 Secs stock, M3 in 10.2s Stock, RS5 B8 in 10.8s and C63 in 9.4 - 9.6 s. All measured in GPS from multiple owners. So regarding which is faster does not really play a role. They are the same level. 0-100 the RS5 V8 will obviously completely destroy all of them thanks to Quattro and Launch Control. Some may FEEL faster but if you measure them they are pretty much all the same. I personally owned a C63, RS5 but also driven the M3, so the ISF is not something i tried because im not into saloons, must be a coupe for me when its about fun. The C63 just feels like 600 HP because its so raw and likes to spin all the time. But at the other time i have a friend with his ISF who thinks he beat 911 GT3RS and RS7s on the autobahn ... his car is stock. So that ISF must FEEL really fast lol :D
Personally I like the isf, it's really restricted stock by the headers and exhaust, makes big gains for an NA changing those, all have their pros and cons but the lexus reliability especially if it's a daily is the winner, and in my eyes looks better, the worst part is no lsd in the early ones and if you got an early 1 with the interior issues.
E92 M3 for sound and track days, C63 for wild driving experience, ISF for long-term ownership, RS4 for rainy days. There is no best from this bunch. Just buy them all!! 😂

I dunno if they got in in NZ or not, but in the UK you could get the 507 edition of the c63 with just over 500hp. Saying that, I’d either have the M3 as a coupe or the RS4 as an avant.

Loved this review! I am curious what the long-term cost of ownership of them all would be, ha. I say this as a multiple former C63 and M3 owner, now with an ISF :) Love them all honestly, but I worry the least with the ISF as you noted. Plus with bolt ons, the ISF really wakes up - though could say that about most cars here.
I'd prefer the audi here but damn that RCF is so low that it kinda disappears. I'd have the audi but kinda looking in the mirror every time the Lexus passed me

Have had an e92 and of you owned em after 75k gearbox is usually slipping and sloppy hahahah well maintained and driven respectfully well made but if you like to utilize the power in my op. Bmw has box issues lol😂 love the content!
Reality: I’d be happy with any and all of them. Imho: Benz is such cashed up bogan car. I kinda love it but think I’d be a bit embarrassed in it. ISF: everything you said but it’s all a bit sensible and aloof. RS4: always loved it. You really gotta know it to spot. Love the q car vibe. M3: most polished and cohesive car there. All of them have servicing costs that reflect there purchase costs. ISF is the only one without any design flaws that’ll make you worry at 2am in the morning.
Its funny, ive driven so many different e9X M3s and never once have i been impressed with them. I definitely wouldnt agree with them having the best interior. It felt brittle and dull to look at. The C63 interior is a real let down too. I dunno, some car channels just seem to think they have to repeat everything they have ever read about cars in the reviews years ago. Thats why i like JayEmm, he makes his own mind up and often goes against the grain.

Yeah I think the amount of power you just need to get use to(why you thought the c63 in the past was a killer). Now my stock SL55 doesn't feel like it's going to kill me, but the tuned one, man it's just nuts and I don't think I can ever get use to it, unless pushing it around a track a few times, that might change the way it feels. In this video, Maybe the C63 had better tires for the wet than the M3? The LSD in the M3 and the setup with less torque and power, should have hooked up better than the merc. Did the M3 have cup2?
Man, what it time it was to be alive. The M3 sedan was definitely my favorite at the time, but if I were to buy one today, it would 1 million % be the IS-F. Toyota left a lot of power (and sound) and just overall character on the table when they made this car. And it’s been out long enough now that the aftermarket has fixed those drawbacks.
Fbo all of them..and the isf comes out on top....but even stock the 2011 isf beat the m3 around vir...with smaller and less aggressive tires... properly set up...its the best all around that dosnt blow its engine like the others in the list...thr are isf approaching 600,000 miles...with original engine and trans..its the best and its not even close.
Not sure everyone would agree with that… every track test I’ve seen put the M3 on top which makes sense. Same power but less weight, lsd etc. but I thoroughly enjoyed the ownership experience of the ISF and agree it’s the most bombproof of the lot

@@KiwiCarLife these times were for 1st year isf without LSD...the same driver that did 8:18 at the ring in 07...later did 8:03 in a 2010 stock LSD lsf . 2010 + cars are very rare and mostly overlooked ... check 2010 up cars..and you will see a big difference...plus even 2010 cars are not evenly matched to the the stock track tire that came on the m3 .. Toyota put 225 front and 255 rear ..subpar Bridgestones..vs 245 fronts 265 rear much better sticker mich......I am a track instructor and have spent time on both m3 and isf .. there isn't much a difference between both in tack times once even in tires and both fbo.most don't care to know this really ..the isf is a strongly overlooked platform..in my opinion it's the best all around car you tested..even tho yours is a non LSD early model vs lsd German rivals .just my opinion my man.👍

Best exterior and interior is highly subjective, and it definitely doesn’t have the best transmission but it’s a brilliant car!

Yep agree ISF is the best to own but the others stock for stock are probably a better drive. With a few mods the ISF is awesome
