I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Placebo are criminally under-rated in Britain, and Brian is such an under-rated frontman. Brian's so charismatic and captivating, whether it's on stage or in interviews. I love the bloke.

I think this band is not underrated, they always show to have a chunk of talent and skills and they gave a sincere and irrefutable tribute to the history of the alternative scene. Both Muse and Placebo are awesome and irreplaceable in my opinion, perhaps Brian's manners are not so kind and charming. This approach could arouse a sort of hate in someone and it could take you far from the right response. Anyway Brian's interviews are downright enthusiastic and full of earnestness, there's nothing to comment because I love how he hangs out and I often listen to him whilst arguing about their history, their expectations, the change they got into and the dedication put in each song. Never feel downtrodden! Placebo are well-known in several countries and as I'm Italian I could never run my daily commitments and my life without listening to them. Their sounds charge me up because they're groundbreaking, paradoxical and insane (all words stolen from Brian, if you've already noticed). Do you know what song I listen to when I run? I go through hills and mountains and I stride alongside the sea in the evening and surrounded by trees and cars dazzling me. I think you can guess what I mean and which song I'm referring to........

it is actually a Fender Jaguar Baritone. It's just like a guitar but with a lower range. Placebo used to use it quite often.

Yeah! Especially because it's a quote by Bob Dylan (as well as "Maggie's farm"). He seemed to have some influence...

Sorry but that's the Bass VI, the Jaguar Baritone has two pickups a the body from the Jaguar guitar and a slightly shorter scale length than the Bass VI.
Bass VI - Extended upper horn, 3 pickups 30" scale.
