Excellent footage, Greg and Nellie! Our daughter Angelina is very proud to be on film (and actually so are we!) Thanks for staying with us and mentionning our project. Take care and enjoy your remaining time in Madagascar! Best regards from the ITC Lodge and SoaZara crews
Jaco!!! Great news man, thanks :) We loved visiting the project and wish the association all the very best in the future. Stay tuned for the Blog post to follow up shortly on the G Adv website.
Yep good one mate. Funny hearing Madagascar with your accent. We don't do 'r's' so for us it's pronounced Madagasca. Nellie in a bikini is always good mate. Nice work
🌲 planting and reforestation is good anywhere in the world. Though some locations may benefit more than others. I'll leave the swimming in cold water to you! I literally cannot breath and swim in cold water: give me a chance in a hot spring and I'll do fine!
So glad to see that reforestation effort. So much habitat in Madagascar has been lost to development and lumber trade, and countless species with them (some before even becoming known to science!). Good on all parties involved.
Great images Greg, loved the first image with the sun over the mountains and Nellie's orange top just popped beautifully. Great use of your guide as well.
What an amazing sunrise! I never thought Madagascar would have some areas which would look more arid or semiarid. I really like the varying landscapes there!
Awesome video as usual. Beautiful images especially the sunrise which was stunning. You might like to put an L bracket on your camera for those panos. That way you camera is on top of the ball and not beside the tripod which can be unstable. Great work. keep the videos and images coming.
Great Video. Madagascar looks beautiful One Tip: You might find an L-Bracket really helpful! Was one of my best purchases in the last years. Much less hassle with vertical shooting and, especially, with Panoramas.
I don't have an L Bracket. No I only used the Pan axis and double checked the degree ratio of the image before hand to be sure. As per the final result, it turned out well. Thinking I could use an L bracket for ease of handling though in the future.
How about those desert rocks!?! Next video is the ultimate contrast. White sand beach for days!!

Super video, Greg. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nice locations and a nice swim is always refreshing in the wild. Thanks for sharing
So true!!
That is a rockin' sunrise photo!
As always, a very professional video, you and Nellie are a great team. Fantastic to see the reforestation project, such an important initiative!

Great video - really liked the variety sunrise to sunset. I never imagined that area to be as arid as it looks. Love watching!

Incredible eh. Neither did we. Love a good landscape surprise. Also it SO different from the next video. Stay tuned this Sunday.
Dude such a great video! And you’re tugging on the ol heartstrings with that thumbnail! 😂 I felt like I was home with that landscape!
Man I've only been to AZ once, but it felt like something similar. One day I'll get the tripod out down there for sure.
Greg Snell absolutely man!!! Looks awesome there! And you have a place to stay when you come down here!
loved the video - such a cool trip.

YES!!! I know. Been meaning to get one for the last couple weeks. That'll be a Xmas present to myself. Maybe when we arrive in Cape Town.
Great video Greg, I just bought a couple of Gobe filters excellent quality and they plant 5 trees per filter in Madagascar too.
That's awesome!!! I didn't know that. Good on ya, and them!!
Fun
Interesting Terrain Greg and for a moment you could forget your in Madagascar. Was there any restrictions about flying the drone?
Yes sadly. Drone regulations are strict in Madagascar, unless you pay a bunch of money, then it's all good.
how come you didn't attach a "L" bracket to your camera @3:17 Wouldn't your center axis be off by using the tilt feature on the ball head?
