I’m re-reading an annotating the crave series. I totally recommend the whole series! It’s really good. It’s kind of like twilight but at the same time it’s not. I think you’ll like it ❤

Alexa I was so excited for you to read beach read. It was the first Emily Henry book for me and i agree with you . I was more into the backstory than the romance. But I loved the cute moments and the crazy turn in chapter 15 ( if you know , you know) . Also I loved the little adventures,the idea and gus was so sweet . He was a sweet and emotionally intelligent person who was toughened up by the situations of his life. I loved January and her dad's last letter made me tear up soooooo badddd. I loved the story,rated it 4 stars. I love you and your videos. .. a literal comfort zone. Love you ❤

I love Emily Henry, beach read is my favorite by her! I agree with other parts of the story being a bit more entertaining then the relationship but I still love gus and january! I think Emily Henry is more literary fiction with romance subplot! I love that the books aren’t super fluffy and always have a deeper meaning! Book Lovers is also one where I find the relationship of the main character and the sister more entertaining than the one with the love interest! You should try that one out too!!

I finished reading beach read last week. And I’m sure someone already mentioned, and I bumped into it completely on accident, but the UK version and the US version has different endings. I was reading the physical book in the US version and the UK one on my kindle. I saw a phrase on the physical book at the end that I didn’t on kindle so I read the ending on both. I personally liked the US version better, but the UK one is great too!
Maybe you could do a tier ranking on the 50+ books you read this year? Revisit your 5⭐️ reads and see where they stack now? Random prompts to determine your tbr? Rate sequels if they were better or worse than the original? But wherever you do, more videos with your cat in the background please 😻.

I loved Book Lovers by Emily Henry and just finished Beach Read today. I rated it 4 stars but should change it to 3.5 too. I think the ending made me go to a 4 lol. There was a lot of spice though and I wasn’t a fan of one of the tropes. Still need to read more of hers but I love her writing and the BANTER!
That is one thing I do really enjoy about Emily Henry! Her banter is UNMATCHED

Beach Read for me had a personal effect especially the letters part I lost my dad at 27 years old so I SOBBBEEDD HYSTERICALLY at that part. But there were some parts that werent my favorite. I think I rated it a 4 stars!

Book lovers is definitely my fave Emily Henry book I will die on that hill. Highly suggest you give it a shot and I’m also one of the people who didn’t like people we meet on vacation and book lovers converted me into an Emily fan.
