Every year, the Grand Rapids independent radio station WYCE hosts a 5+ hour long award show featuring a long list of favorite Michigan musicians. The Jammie awards showcase and honor the work of local musicians and producers. The 18th annual show in 2017 hosted 25 different bands, performing on two different stages. A free show for all ages. The WYCE Jammie Awards have become an opportunity for a variety of local groups to perform under one roof and celebrate the music and community that is made here in Michigan.

Channing & Quinn are an indie folk duo who craft music that blends quirky with creepy, and theatrics with sincerity. In a live setting the two do the work of several musicians by playing guitar, ukulele, accordion, drums, glockenspiel, banjo, looping vocals and even tap dancing all at the same time! (OK, some at the same time.) Often touring the country in a rather unorthodox way, past tours have consisted of traveling entirely by Amtrak Trains, and most recently a 7 month long national tour pulling and living in an Airstream trailer. They are currently based in Grand Rapids, MI after spending 9 years in Nashville, TN.
