Re E14 just a simple trick: if you haven't used the machine in a while, just knock gently against the flow meter with a tool whilst the dishwasher is running as it will release the little paddle wheel inside. Like a fan you haven't use in a while and needs a kick start with all that accumulated dust.
What if the wheel is spinning but it still shows E14? i've tried removing the sensor and putting it back on, tried knocking it and it doesn't change anything ( as i already said the wheel is spinning)
@@misterp2538 Not sure where the flow meter is... I just tapped it lightly near the base of the right-hand side panel, slightly towards the back, and it sprang back into action!
Great video. Anybody on well water here in USA. I had my filter clogged on water inlet. The water inlet had broken as well. So cleaning the filter didnt even fix it. I replaced the inlet and the float switch just to be sure that it wasnt giving me the error. When i replaced those 2 parts it now works!! Super glad because they are expensive machines and ours was only 4 years old
At around 6:11, the water inlet sensor, this is the general reason for this error. It's integrated into the inlet and the most common problem is the wheel will stick. So it'll still test open with the ohmmeter. Sometimes you can tap it loose but you need to replace the whole plastic assembly because it's integrated. I found them online for about $30 US plus shipping.
I was wondering why my Bosch series 4 dishwasher can run a complete cycle (tried on different settings), and then E14 error notification comes up at the very end, when the cycle has finished...?
Hi, helpful but i have a question. I have a E 16 code on my bosch 18 inch. I took it apart and wasn't sure which is the inlet valve or to fix the problem, think water keeps entering. The plastic guide on the side I dont think is shut off portion "maybe" or what about Aqua stop as bosch calls it that connects to my inlet pressure line under sink. Is this the inlet valve shut off that has electrical? Not sure if this makes sense Ty. Steve
google search for "exploded parts view 'your specific model'" and you'll see diagrams and labels of each part. should help identify what you're trying to look for. inlet valve is easy to find because its your hot water going to the dishwasher. you can look under your sink and should see your hot valve running one line to your sink and one line to your dishwasher. just follow that line to the dishwasher to find the inlet valve
Buonasera , volevo chiedere aiuto mi si accesa errore 16 sulla lavastoviglie Bosch mod. SMS53M98/II e non mi si spegne devo togliere la spina elettrica , cosa sarà successo, come eliminare il guasto grazie .
No sorry, but the e19 is apparently related to the heat exchanger valve. So following this video will at least give you access to the valve, it's on the same side of the dishwasher as shown in this video

Extracting the outer water inlet filter with a pair of pliers, and cleaning it, did the trick. Many thanks!
